Another thing about the Stadium in Hobart, Townsville built a stadium with a capacity of 25,000 and capacity to upgrade to 30,000 in the future. The population of Townsville is 205,000. Townsville is 1300kms away from Brisbane and which is 500kms further than it is from Adelaide to Melbourne. Since building it they have had concerts there with Pink and Elton John and have had nearly 20,000 to NRL games.
There is no excuse for Tasmania to not have a 23k stadium for football
