This is where the AFL should be flexible & change their suspension criteria. From 1 game + depending on severity of player injuted.

For the life of me I can’t understand why Port took Atkins. It just doesn’t make any sense.

I get them paying future first for Luko. It’s overpaying but Port overpay to get their missing pieces. They also would have expected it to be pick 15 turning into 25 after all the academy picks etc.

Then Houston for round 1 last year. Again not enough in return but they were desperate to get into the super draft. I get it.

But how does taking a salary dump in Atkins make any sense?? Surely Port didn’t want him.

It really should have been Luko and Atkins for a very, very late pick as a salary dump. Then Houston for Rnd 1 last year and rnd 2 this year. They keep their first.

They didn’t just ‘lose’ the trade they got absolutely taken to the cleaners. No idea how Gold Coast and Collingwood pulled it off.

Feel bad for Berry because it’s not his fault they are his return but knives are already out for the kid. Sad.

Well, you don't want blokes doing that, so if we've got an opportunity to set a precedent by punishing a nobody playing for a club that isn't in contention, then we have to take it.

If say... Cripps had done it though, he'd be playing next week and we all know it.

Listened to Campo on 5AA and think he mentioned that the Power are still playing an uncontested football game - ranked 18th for contested possessions and groundball gets and ranked 1st for uncontested possessions. And we are talking by large margins as well to the next team.

And they are also bottom three for clearances.

These stats are not painting a pretty picture at all.

Kane Farrell yesterday said that he’s instructed to handball too, the guy with that weapon for a leg is told to handball as part of their stupid gameplan?

Campo and Rowey said it’s Carrs gameplan, had to laugh at Ginever “no it’s Ken’s, he said so”.

So Ken who has never had a handball dominated game all of a sudden has created it in his last year.

This stupidity is Carrs which means they are ****ed long term.

Winning a premiership with a 11-7 WL record (and having 19 men on the field in the Preliminary Final) and for the other three years he coached only winning 12 games out of 54 over three seasons?

Is this a good coaching record? Ah no.

Agree, I feel the Powah Faithful are in for a shock when Carr officially takes over - I think he is already running the show and Kenny is just cheerleader getting $800k.

Their list aint that flash and all their woes can't be attributed to Kenny.

They had stats on First Crack that scores from just a pure win clearance/contested ball style game had been dropping every year since 2021.

I was looking at stats for fantasy purposes and Port's are way out of wack. They are +21 average handballs on the next best team.

I don't think a Tasmanian AFL team will enter the AFL at the time they specified originally.

The stadium with a roof is just not going to be built in time, and if it has already doubled in cost the tax paying Tasmanian's will have to foot the bill and they'll be livid.

They need depth. Atkins is that. And that is a truly sad statement.
