No Prison Bars for Heritage Round

You where an offshoot of the Port Magpies obviously, but your a completely different club now, different song, different colors, different players and different coach, different history. Your SANFL flags dont count in the AFL, but VFL flags do as it was just a smaller competition. The AFL gave you a license as the Port Adelaide Power not Magpies get over it, different clubs ;)

Answer one question. How do you think you know more about our club than we do?

settle down when you joined our league you must have known we where going to continue to be the magpies and wear black and white, what are you even thinking. Port Power or Port Adelaide Power have never won a SANFL flag, you have won 1 VFL turned AFL flag. Why would you even think we would let you wear our colors and the AFL seems to agree, its a waste of everyones time. Get over it, we have :thumbsu:

Are you really that dumb and stupid??? Or are you just pretending to be that dumb and stupid?? How old are you for god sake, and I have to ask of you - how much do you really know of you FOOTBALL HISTORY!! Please, before you go any further on making such a fool of your self on another clubs board about another club's history - I suggest that you look deep into your own clubs history and come back when you know exactly what you are talking about. You are quite the fool, and showing your stuidity for all to see, as we can all see you know **** ALL ABOUT **** ALL!!

Because at the moment, you are talking to someone who is a 4th generation of the PAFC with a daughter being the 5th. Now I am not sure on how far or how old you are (by the sound of it, still in school, with wiskers the cat needs to lick of) but I suggest - Go Read The History Books!!

i mean, I dont want to hang it on a school kid with no brains, and to much time on his hands, or to much hand on his **** - but if your an adult and you think you know what you are talking about - mate -I'll sit down and tear ****ing strips of you and your pathetic club!!!

Your lack of understanding on this whole issue really should be an embarrasment to you. Do a bit of reading and come back when you actually know a little about the topic!

Obviously you want another break from BigFooty for trolling on team boards and we'll happily oblige if you continue posting crap.

There was no such club as the Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club before 1996 so we can't be an off shoot of them but they can be an off shoot of the Port Adelaide Football Club who now compete in the AFL.

And as for the licence the AFL actually gave it to the SANFL who awarded it to the Port Adelaide Football Club ahead of other bids from SANFL clubs including Norwood. The AFL licence clearly has the name Port Adelaide Football Club printed on it just like the SANFL and AFL premiership cups and nothing about the teams logo/nickname as your continued garbage raves on with.

You do mate, and i understand you are PAFC, however that license in the AFL is a different club to the 1 in the SANFL and the one that was. The players where different, the coaches, the jumper, the song ect ect, its not the magpies, hence a different club. PAFC are now power, not magpies agree? or do you think your the power and pies? you can only be one so what one are you

I agree that the PAFC are not the Magpies. Do you think a nickname determines a clubs heritage? I certainly hope not. There is far more to it than that. And if we are going to talk about names, I would have thought the words Port Adelaide Football Club were far more important than any nickname. We have been called the PAFC since 1870, and correct me if I'm wrong (Which I know I'm not), but aren't we the PAFC now?

We are in case you missed the subject at the top of the heading talking about our right to wear our Heritage Colours - THAT IS ALL - in the heritage round!! Right or Wrong?

PAFC - YES PAFC were invited into the AFL by the AFL as the PAFC - on joining the AFL in 1996 the PAFC become in the SANFL (PLEASE NOT THE LEAGUES) the PAMFC and the PAFC became in the AFL the PAFC. Now on entering and getting INVITED TO JOIN THE AFL, the PAFC were wearing the BLACK AND WHITE PRISON BAR - on joining the AFL the Power had to change or alter the colour of it's jumper - hence it brought into the BLACK AND WHITE, Teal and Silver - you note the black and white remains!! And if you look at the SANFL the PAMFC are still wearing the Black and White. Now, the PAFC and the PAMFC still train and drink and WHATEVER at the same HOME GROUND - when you pull up to the Alberton Clubrooms there are two symbols - PAFC & PAMFC - why because WE ARE FROM ONE CLUB YOU FOOL, **** ME, HOW ****ING STUPID ARE YOU PEOPLE, I mean for god sake it is black and white - it is about HISTORY, HERITAGE - AND BLACK AND WHITE IS OURS - NO MATTER WHAT YOU FOOLS OVER THE BOARDER THINK OR REFUSE TO AKNOWLEDGE, for what ever god dam reasons - what are they for god sake - to deny our history - Why - who is it to bother when we proudly show our history when you all know we were wearing BLACK AND WHITE when the AFL INVITED US TO JOIN THE ALF. Christ are you people all that dumb or are you really that pighead to deny anyclub the right to their rightful history:confused:

more dribble showing no respect towards the Port Adelaide Football Club which has earnt me another break from BigFooty.......

And im not denying you your history celebrate it all you want anyway you want, but please dont run around as the magpies in black and white in the AFL please.

If a mascot is of greater importance to you than the roots of your club, so be it. But such changes are superficial, and our club goes far deeper than that.

You arent denying it but the AFL is. In heritage round - only heritage round - we should be able to wear the guensey WE wore in the 70s. That was the prison bar jumper - take note you moron, it is a different jumper to your pathetic stripes!!!.

We will NOT be running around as the magpies, we will be running around as the Port Adelaide Football Club with our black + white prison bar jumper that WE made famous.

The other 21 rounds (plus finals i hope) we will be wearing our current guernsey. How in the hell is that a threat to you beloved magpies - you freakin dingbat.

In your own post you said "celebrate it all you want anyway you want" - that means that we are allowed to wear our jumper. TOOL - go away your continual trolling on this subject needs to cease.

****wit!!!!!

I noticed in an article about the dtrug policy in the Tiser that JJ was in Melbourne yesterday speaking to Adrian Anderson ..... lets hope the guernsey was the main topic of discussion, and that Adrian Anderson walked out feeling like he's been locked in a room with George Michael.

Malibu your avatar is a killer, I was just about to squat the little bugger on my monitor - sorry off topic.

As usual , there has been a lot of talk about port wearing the prison bar jumpers.and as usual ,everyone is pointing the finger in eddies direction.i can tell all port supporters, that a couple of weeks ago, eddie was on MMM and said that he has no problem with port wearing the prison bar jumper during the heritage round.he said that all that was needed was for a port official to ring him and politely ask .another thing that may surprise port supporters is the fact that most collingwood supporters dont object neither.by the way eddies polite comment wasnt being smug.it was more aimed at the histeria coming from some people.so good luck getting permission,as most pies supporters supported port in the sanfl anyway.

politely ask? well, a port & bigfooty member here has already sent him an email & pleaded - will that do?

who the heck is eddie anyway? why do any port people need to ask HIM? it should just be common decency on his behalf, heck why doesnt he just shoot port an email saying as far as he's concerned he doesnt have a problem with the heritage prison bars, rather than doin it publicly on a commercial radio station? - why doesnt he? 'cause he's not big enough.

Good news if it is true but why does the PAFC need to ask Eddie?

It is up to the AFL to approve our Heritage Round guernsey not Eddie or anyone else at Collingwood. The AFL are saying they can't allow us to wear our 1970's guernsey in the 1970's themed Heritage Round because of a deal they have done with Eddie. If Eddie has publicly stated he has no objections to us wearing our 1970's guernsey then that only makes the AFL look even more incompetent, if that is at all possible.
