Loving the use of the old AFL logo these days. We started the trend, and I’m glad we did

Let's just make that the AFL logo again.

And while we're at it, can this be the Channel 7 logo?

if Collingwood are so insistent on having the club logo on the guernsey I wish they went for this instead. I hate the unsymmetical two logos on one side and one on the other.

The 90's AFL logo with the 80's Collingwood logo is messing my OCD

1990 premiership matches logo and Guernsey so not messy at all in my opinion.

An interesting theory someone told me about the wrong logo being on the jumper is that Collingwood are distancing themselves from the Australia flag logo. For those living in the city, would this be a likely thing they would wanna do?

I mean its Melbourne after all so you can never be sure what internal "socially responsible" programs are up to but I feel it'd be more likely that since the flag-featuring logo was our official logo upto 2016 it doesn't feel "retro" enough to most people? Whereas with the 80s logo its very quick to recognise as retro.

Oh 1000%. In that sense I appreciate that this retro kit is essentially a faux-back of sorts crystallising the "retro vibe" into one kit (assuming we're wearing black shorts) without calling back to any one particular year, unlike 2020 with our 2010/1990-based kits.

Does it have anything to do with facing east towards the 'G (from Geelong)? Thought that was the same thinking behind the orientation of both the Eagles & Hawks logos...

No, they go to the edge of the stitching.
The stitching on the jumpers comes around from the back and finishes on the front
So the point where the back meets the front is not on the side, it's slightly to the front.

I have noticed the Home and Clash I have done are incorrect, I will be changing them later this week.

Dockers special jumpers schedule.

Interested to see what we do for the Len Hall game as we’ve never done a unique design for that.

Hopefully the stealth jumpers chevrons a bit brighter as you can’t really see them on TV. Scheduling the bloody game at night is also gonna be a big help.

Retro will either be the Purple Haze (white anchor on purple jumper), a repeat of the previous years or a fauxback.

Starlight could be basically anything but there will definitely be some yellow somewhere

Wearing the stealth away against North Melbourne is pretty smart as well, takes away all the white and completely reduces any clash.

Would’ve liked to have seen a special gather round design in a clash colour though (even a green jumper could’ve worked)
