Team Captain
Nathan Kerlin is one to watch out for. He is 194cm and has already run a 14.1 in the beep test, which is outstanding for a bloke his size. He has a good footy brain and is highly skilled on both sides of his body.

Nathan's from Rutherglen but played for Corowa's under 18's last season. He won the B and F by 40 odd votes as a 15year old ruckman. He generally rucked most of the game and from what i saw was rarely beaten in both ruck and marking contests - despite being 3years younger than most of his opponents.Where is he from ??
i mean that Caleb tiller wasnt given much game time to prove himself . The short time he got i thought he did very well . in the u16's carnival in qld he didnt play much at all . In the metro game he came on and kicked a nice goal at a very handy time in the game . He's got really good skills and a good head on his shoulders. They percieve him as a bit soft but i think you will find he just lacks a bit of confidence in himself . As soon as he gets a bit of arrogance and confidence you will see the real player come out . If he is given a good run and strings a few games together he will be terriffic.
any one know if jake loraine is back with bushies this year
Suspect1, I think you will find he didn't play in the Metro game only the SA and WA game in Qld.
I've seen Caleb since he was playing U14's for Thornton in the old Central Goulburn, and he dominated as he was very tall at an early age. Caleb usually played CHF and kicked a stack of goals in that age group. In some of the U16 trial games and in Qld he played CHB or FB as VC tried him in different positions. He hasn't ever played back and it showed, the backmans desperation and mentality and ability to read the play from that perspective was not there. I would play him initially as a 3rd tall in the forward line and let him have a go at CHF after about 10 games. CHB no way, I agree he would probably lose a bit of confidence.
Good skills on both sides, can mark and has a long and accurate kick, should be good tho.
pianto has said he will play bushies when availiable and has been training and also jamie sheehan has also been training but not sure what he will be doing... lowden hasnt trained yet?
Played in the GV flag with Jacob this year and ill give you the hot tip, he is now selfish for his footy. the thursday after the granny was bushies practice or something and Jakey said no to a p i s s up at my house on the tuesday to celebrate, just so he could go for run and a kick and be in best possible condition for the thursday. that is a good mindset for a 15yr old i tell ya. everyone knows how enormus his talent is, and he will get it right very soon. the kid loves his cricket, and is a absolute gun with the bat, but gave it away this season so he can focus on footy come november.. that, is committment..
can anyone tell me how Jason Cole and Daniel Belsten went last thursday?? cheers
jake lorraine isnt a freak bat he is a slogger pitch it up to him on the stumps and ull get him out easy
pity the poor old pot struggles to land it on the pitch!!!
My opinion is that Jake Lorraine has improved dramatically over the past 2 years and has bulked up largely. Jamie Sheahan will be the one to watch tough. Brilliant footballer who hopefully will commit to TAC cup footy a lot this year.

Ey does anyone no about young Quaide Comi hes training with the senior squad does he have big future ahead of him
One Ray Carrol will be making sure that Sheahan will be fufilling committments at ACK.. Certainty to be the skipper up there come 08.
daniel boyle has been training with richmond and jonny walker had a day at kangas and ash hockey a day with essendon
Dean Terlich is also training with Sydney.
Bushies first practice matches this weekend.. with 2 intra club matches at benalla show grounds.. 10am the bottom agers kick off and the top agers at 12.. anyone heading down for a look?
I had a look Chandra but no real standouts IMO.Would love an update on how a couple of players went:
Ben Birthisel- got a tast of TAC last year- looks like he'll take a bit to develop but be one to watch.
Also, Sam Caruso- bottom age beautiful kick- I've seen him play club football, didn't see any of his representative footy last year- quite interesting player.

Birthisel has bulked up a lot and didn't do too much but he still ran well both forward and back.
Caruso is very small just like about 20 others in these 2 trial games. He does have good skills though and should be a good player next year.
