If you can show me what he actually said was wrong I will quite happily rebuff it, providing it is incorrect.

I suspect you've already read it and chosen to ignore it judging by your first post about SM's meltdown but the exact quote was SM accusing Liverpool fans of calling Leicester a club of no significance.

Which is an absolute outright lie.

No, no. It was paraphrasing bro. Paraphrasing.

Not at all. Again this has nothing to do with Liverpool.

People keep trying to make it about Liverpool.

I was talking about Leicester.

Im honestly at a loss as to why my statement was so shocking and SM has taken such offence.

But SM gotta SM I suppose.

It really is monotonous.

You say a Leicester player may look elsewhere if big club is in for them.

Nek minnut about 5 others start bringing LFC into the discussion when it has nothing to do with it.

It's like talking to my 6 year old son when he's in trouble. "But daddy this and that etc etc" when I'm telling him off for doing something else completely unrelated.

Any reason why you've chosen not to rebuff posters who said Leicester will not be selling players in the summer?

Jatz, I and others have never said we don't deal in absolutes, Jod said that. :)

The issue wasn't that the player 'may' look elsewhere, it was that jod said unequivocally that he would look elsewhere, and that if a big club came in the players would leave. That's all this issue was ever about. You had your nose too deep in the FFP muck to see that. I have no idea why you're defending Jod to the hilt like this when he and I both know he ****ed up, which is why he refuses to answer whether he said the players would leave or may leave. He's admitted when he gets in deep he just resorts to trolling.

You mean like when you bring up Man City spending sprees, FFP and then paraphrasing arguments when we're talking about Jod saying that there's no doubt the players will leave if a big club comes in? :)

You're actually just contradicted yourself. We were talking about Leicester spending money in the summer and I said that I couldn't see them going on a Man City style spending spree because of FFP which caused your little episode. Pretty clearly related topics.

So what the hell does that have to do with Liverpool?

You keep bringing up LFC in just about every discussion. Only NSFB is worse than you in that regard.

I've already explained this a few times, I'm not repeating because you're lazy.

We were talking about players leaving, and I brought up that Leicester could spend a fair bit to retain them. Nothing about going out and going on a Man City spending spree.

HAIL THE NEW GOD
You talking about the sperm on his neck or?

You talking about the sperm on his neck or?
The divine one graced his body on the sullen and dead grass of the etihad and that stadiums groundskeeper got fired as the divine made the grass be as perfect has him.

Manchester city should thank the divine one as without him their stadium shall be empty as it always has been.

To be perfectly honest I don't think what jod said was all that unreasonable.

It's the way it's been for decades now, high performing clubs get raided by richer clubs. Football has changed a lot the last year or so though.

Time will tell I guess. But I certainly wouldnt rule out unwanted departures. I said ages ago in this thread I don't think there is a club immune to it.

I will say this on the Leicester matter. If one of their players is sold it'll be for a fantastic deal that they'll be the winner of I reckon.

I'm talking well over inflated fee for a Vardy, anything above 25m they'd be crazy not to look at. Or 50m+ for Mahrez. Those sort of fees I reckon they'll be better of cashing in on. So it will be the clubs head who is turned rather than the players

No what he said is unreasonable is that they unequivocally will leave, not that they may leave. The discussion has been done though. Jod was shown to be a fool.

I don't get too hung up on semantics. Thought what he said was fine, certainly not worth the amateur dramatics and faux outrage that followed.

Ok. :) Thanks for the opinion even if it was somewhat predictable.

Well, I'll just carry on calling things as I see them, regardless of the poster or the team they support. You can carry on this personal battle/foreplay you have with jod if you like.

It's not a personal battle at all, and considering a wide range of posters from a range of clubs have also called him out on being stupid I dare say that the only personal battle is you tying yourself in knots to criticise me/tell me I'm wrong. I guess I have a personal war with WC2022 as well.
