We doubling down on Dizz up forward?

Unfortunately yes. He does play his role to be fair, but just think we'd be better served with one of Smith or Morris up forward.

Named extended bench >

[1] Kai Lohmann,[13] Logan Morris,[17] Jarryd Lyons,[22] Harry Sharp,[26] Conor McKenna,[32] Darcy Fort,[38] Bruce Reville,[43] Noah Answerth.

We know Bruce Reville is a certainty to play and I would add Conor McKenna and Noah Answerth as 99% certain to play.

Logan Morris wont play as his debut was not announced, Jarryd Lyons will not play(if he does I will explode).

So that leaves the last spot on the bench behind Reville/McKenna/Answerth between Lohmann, Sharp and Fort.

I'm hoping it is Sharp in and Lohmann as the sub.

I think we'll see Noah as the sub, Sharp on the wing and we'll stick with Motty, Zorko, McKenna and Starce as our smalls down back.

Sharp as a sub seems wasteful as his biggest strength is his ability to cover the ground and runs hard both ways. Is a specialist wing and suspect he plays wing while Bruce gets opportunities around the ball.

2 debutants probably a bit much in one match. Tell Morris/Smith to keep knocking on the door, target one of them getting a run in the next couple of weeks (maybe against the Tigers).

Though I 100% agree, it's well past time the Gardiner as a forward thing ended.

We're going to keep playing Dizz forward until it works or until he puts his hand up.

Like Gunston.

We do most things right but there is an archaic blind spot that really never helps us.

Besides that all good . Reville has earnt a spot . Like to see Brain get a call up soon.

If the coaches want three talls and don't think Smith and Morris aren't ready, then you can see why they'd stick with him to be fair.

The question should be: is three talls the right call?

Hasn’t been the right call since McStay left. We don’t have anyone capable to play the specific role he played right now.

I don’t know why we changed what worked so well for us during the finals series, to the point we lost a GF by 4 points. Having the 2 talls and then Cam as the hybrid third made us a far quicker and more dangerous team.

It blows my mind we are going back to this 3 tall set up again after that.
