Kozzy will have to attract a similar package to the Bolton trade. That was 10,11 and 18. For 14, and 3rd rounder and Bolton.
At an absolute minimum it’ll be 2 x firsts. Acknowledging that the first won’t be that high.
1R (9), Murphy Reid and Ollie Murphy for Kozzie and some 2026 points for Lucas Robinson. If Freo make finals forget the 2026 points.

For starters it's not about value it's about leverage.
Melbourne have it because he's contracted until 2027 and even if he goes then as an RFA the compo pick will be equal or better to than a mid r1.
So if they traded him for a mid first now their supporters would riot and it's no chance of happening.
They will want 2 good first rounders minimum for him or he won't be traded.

If you're asking me his actual value without the contract (which is a different issue) I think he's worth a top 10 pick plus a 2nd rounder somewhere but as I said Melbourne wouldn't do it for that.
you are 100% correct

Lets just have a look at the Liam Baker trade of pick #14 uncontracted and take it from there
Kysaiah Pickett contracted is worth easily a #5 - #8 pick

If Fremantle end up with pick #14 that blows out to #20 range
What else gets thrown into the deal as future 1st rounder would be worth even less

The Baker trade isn’t a fair comparison to anything. The Eagles got reamed.
