Or, maybe he did and the club kept it private because.... well it is private.

I reckon any healing will take a couple of days. Dom Sheed alluded that players didn't have an issue with him, so it may be difficult with the back office but I'm sure they can work it out.

He just needs to go in there, knock on their office doors and have a chat.....

Jax vaxxed!

If he arranged the vaccinations himself without going through the club then that would open up the suggestion that he didn't actually get vaccinated. Surely wouldn't be hard to find a doctor to give you the right paperwork for a fee.

Easily possible to book your own vaccination and it gets recorded onto mygov and ServicesWA within a day once you get jabbed (personally, mine appeared as soon as the appointment was over).

Maybe there is something dodgy but I'm going with the simplest explanation that he just is a very private person and thought cutting out the club was okay, right up until the deadline.

Occam's Razor - JD is a DC who left things till the last minute, much like a student failing to hand in their assignment on time, but eventually realises sh!t will hit the fan if they don't pull their finger out, and belatedly gets their homework done.

I expect he'll have to forward his vaccination certificate from the myGov website...?

I think this means ...

... We'll only need the covid info thread going forward

Jack Darling is the gift that keeps on giving.

Good news for the club but what an absolute dumb shit way of going about it.

Ruin your pre season and put undue stress on yourself and the club for...what exactly now?

Hope he has a great season because he's got some bridges to mend over this.

You think the club suits aren't at all put out by this? That Simmo hasn't been frustrated by it? He wasn't even talking to his manager, footy clubs will put up with a lot but not being cut out cold by a player.
Willies back isnt he? He actually broke the law and did something wrong..twice
Jack is back after taking a bit longer to weigh up his options
I dont for a second think his availability will have a huge bearing on our club but he apparently is going to play. Lucky we didnt delist him already..

Hugh Dixon and Waterman would be spewing. Also not sure how we go back to fitting Darling and Allen back in the team if we want games into Williams

Well that’s a surprise.

Bizarre turn of events, in reality, but I am wondering whether it’s a combination of

a) footy being back for real and he’s realised it’s a long cold winter without footy
b) realisation that 100k is going to be a bit harder to live on than 800k when you’re accustomed to a certain standard of living
c) higher case numbers in WA with higher hospital % rates in the unvaccinated bringing him back to reality.

C) seems logical, so it is much more likely to be a bit from a) & b) for mine.

Regardless of any personal views on vaccination status, this is fantastic news for the club.

What an odd chain of events though - approaching Cousins running from booze bus levels.

Bodes well for the future.
One guy on unknown drug running from the cops ,the other guy not wanting unknown drugs..

Scrolling down while reading so didn't see the last line so when I got to c) I scoffed.

Agree it's unlikely Jack can do maths.
