Feels like there is a lot of conjecture in this thread.

All I see is a guy who left a club in his hometown and where he was a premiership player looking for an opportunity to be a starting ruck rather than reserve ruck, ended up being reserve ruck anyway, had a look around for better opportunities, none presented, so he's staying put and getting on with it.

To my knowledge there's no issues with him from the club's end and he has acted totally professionally in the aftermath of the trade request falling through. Feels like people are a little bit preoccupied by the girlfriend angle but I don't think it's got much relevance beyond being good tabloid material.

It is 100% because his girlfriend is hot, so according to certain members of this board she must be super high maintenance, so he must be whipped, and therefore he can't be a real serious footballer because he does everything based on the whims of this high maintenance girlfriend that people have concocted in their heads.

How he's behaved is exactly how everyone in his situation would behave, regardless of how hot or high maintenance their partner was. He's been a model professional about it the entire time. If his girlfriend was such a negative influence desperate to be in Melbourne and he was beholden to that, he would never have moved here in the first place.

Some of the usual suspects in this thread should reflect on their posting in this thread and be embarrassed, but of course, they won't.

Soldo can play but it's more about whether his body can hold up or not. If he is fit i think it's going to be a close call, he was pretty handy at the start of 2024.
