Only batting roads, more teams should look to employ this tactic, bowling wide of the blue line to entice the batters to dance down the wicket/shuffle down the wicket . Im actually surprised why its not employed more. Your happy to concede 2-3 runs in wides, in order to get a batsman to do something a bit out of their comfort zone especially when you having a batsman striking at 180+ strike rate.In this format now, I think teams are prepared to give away a run or an extra, in order to get a wicket. Case in point, Ashwin bowling a wider delivery, and Dhoni stumping the batsman.
