Ummm not the case at all.... The club put him in place of administering a suppliments program. very different to giving him the authority to give injections... He had no authority to give injections, although we know that he didnt follow this.
But Hird, Corcoran and Goodwin knew because they were all getting injections

I love how the article ends:

We (I) was ready to dominate 2013 until everyone stuffed it up for us (me).

Willing to bet money that in part two he suggests they would have won a premiership if not cruelly derailed.

I also suspect he will describe in graphic detail his own onfield exploits and lament that his boys were denied the opportunity to be perhaps almost as good as he was.

I like to give people who say there's more to the story the benefit of the doubt, because there is always more to the story, but gee Hirds article is disappointing. Nothing to describe why what happened to the players is a travesty of justice, plenty of assigning blame for what happened to others. I hope part 2 is better.

Source?
I'd love to see a copy of his employment contract if you have it handy.

The thing is this article today is only part 1.

There's at least a 2nd part of the article. To quote from the article itseelf, 2013 ownards is the last line.

There are some interesting points.

The management structure once and for all proves the lie about the "texts". It does surely show that if it was to work correctly Hird and the coaching staff were at arms length from Robinson and Dank, under Hamilton.

The continual insistence that everything was to be legal and complaint.

The fact that 12 other clubs had similar programs in place.

Once again, since it's the year of FACTS. The bolded sentence is not a FACT, it is an allegation, which has never been substantiated by the hordes of EFC supporters. No other club was injecting their playing group with peptides unless you have some information to the contrary.

I took from the article that Hird had the best intentions about making sure protocols were set up and everything they were doing were legit.

But given he didn't really do anything to ensure that was the case, ultimately it falls on him for Dank going rogue and disregarding protocol.

I also find it staggering that Dr Reid just sat on the sidelines and watched it happen. I really can't believe he got off scott free.
How can you have injections for the players whereby the doctor is not involved? If he was that against it and his advice was completely ignored, he should of resigned out of professional ethics. It just doesn't add up about Dr Reid involvement in this situation.

The agreed facts in the CAS documents suggest Hird is the one lying

Part II is about The Night All Hell Broke Loose.

this is media management

To be fair Woosha has form in just ignoring a drug scandal and pretending it will go away.

I remember reading Underboss by Sammy Gravano. Read much the same as this interview. Wasn't me.

By the way, do you reckon GWS have a complete list of things that have gone into Dylan Shiel's body? Can we expect a raft of soft tissue injuries this year from the Giants? Has Spike got him on a cocktail of magic vitamins, sleeping, tanning and woody injections? Or have they engaged in a fully documented programme that can be accessed by the relevant authorities?
