I have heard Devon Smith wants out. Keen on cats or st Kilda
No thanks, we don't need another slow plodder with poor foot skills. Besides, he had his chance.

I cannot stress this enough.
He hates Geelong more than anything.
Includes the entire town, he will never play for GFC
Good. Saves me having to barrack for him.

Even if his hatred for the region wasn't at colossal levels, I very much hope that the Cats would be playing the following card in 2020 List Monopoly when it comes to Devon.

Go to the draft. Go directly to the draft.
Do not pass up the opportunity to select multiple young prospects.
Do not collect more seasoned players who won't really help you build towards a premiership.

I think you have hit on a great version of Monopoly ... AFL Trade, Draft , FA, Rumour and wish version. .. ... Land on chance and lose 2 draft picks ...

Devon Smith is a very good player. Won Essendon’s B&F last year or the year before. Don’t think he’d come cheap enough though.

He is a good player but his knee is reportedly not great..I don't think I'd go there.

Ricky Nixon is a haemorrhoid in human form, but here's his latest:

The "Giant" set to walk out is Tim Taranto apparently. With him going, surely there's cap space for Jezza C

His manager literally said 2 days ago he isn't moving that page is crap.

do we want 27... Id prefer a future pick... but I guess Wells like those late 20 somethings ..he will have someone in mind. Think what we have found with later picks than that ..with players in our best22

I'd like 7 if tilthorpe is there I'd consider that deal.

27 or a 2021 pick depends on our trade plans.

7 and 27 for 13 and 16? Don't think I'd accept that.

Depends on who is there. If you can get tilthorpe at 7 (I can't see him getting past gws at 9 with their ruck stocks) and not 11 then it's well worth pushing 16 back imo but I'd prefer to do that trade on the night when we know who is there. RUck and key forward are such holes for us.

Devon Smith/his agent used us as a bargaining chip last time, I imaging this is more of the same if there's any truth to it.

I heard there was no cartilage left in his knee or something similar..big risk. And I'm a Devon fan.
I remember reading that about another bloke who wears number 14...

I’m not suggesting it’s likely at all but if he was available we should do due diligence.

Of course we will not really know who will be there ..as this would be a deal done to get their trades done. Id say looking at the CalT recent form guide ... we would have a very good chance of getting someone high end at 7. Who knows it might be Hollands ..it might be Phillips but it will probably be kid as good as we have had for sometime.

10 years younger though CE

what would Ess want for him... my bet like everyone ..and R1 pick
Not sure what you mean. It was said Selwood’s knees were ****ed when he was drafted.

As I’ve said, I don’t think it’s at all likely but you would be negligent not to do due diligence on a player of his quality.
