Notice :

Do not post names of players speculated to be involved in the sexual assault claims.

There has been a very clear suppression order put on anyone naming or speculating on players involved.

This is a site wide rule that must be followed.

While I do think he's a future gun I'm not 100percent sold on him.

If Zac Butters is also available - I know he's much older but I think he fits out team better
The problem with Butters is that he's too brave for his own good and probably won't play into his early/mid 30s. From what I can tell his ankle is already stuffed, seems like he misses huge blocks of games whenever he rolls it.
I'd go hard for someone like Bergman, I think he could be one of the better mids going around if he gets an opportunity to play there.

Cayden Beetham is a name I’ve not seen mentioned for a long time. Never amounted to much did he.

not sure about "tall poppy"
what is controversial is the fact that should he go, WCE may want 3 first rounders and he may want $2 million a season.
he's clearly going to be a great player, but is he in the Judd/Daicos stratosphere? Jury's certainly out on that one, and therefore so is his trade value.
I think the ‘tall poppy’ part of Kermie’s post was directed at the posters putting shit on Harley, not directed at Harley.

Edit: sorry SYL, I didn’t mean to add your post to this reply & don’t know how to delete it. 😂 I’m not very tech savvy.

Too many damn footy shows to watch these days.. I can’t keep up anymore.. too much of the same
Jack Riewoldt is not a host. Three weeks in and he looks a long way off and lost.

He is better giving his opinion and they would be better off replacing Brown With Jack. Besides, he has already got that panel talking about the free agents that Hawthorn has got in its current team including Tom Barras. 🤨

Exhibit A.

Sidebar your honour. I think bucks is my favourite media pundit. Just measured and insightful. Even if you disagree with him you don’t dismiss his opinion.

Thats the Fox Footy clowns feeding him and the graphic shit info.

If that's what it's going to take then throw it at Sheezel, the kid is all class....
Sheezel>>>>>>>>>>>>>Reid
All class and a total professional.

He'd be the least risky $2 million dollar player I can think of, you'd get a guaranteed return on your investment every week with the Cheezel.

Well he already knows Dingley well:
Saint's supporter growing up and I think they are going hard on him. I think he's a good player, but sure on his defensive side but as a rebounding player is good from half back.

If we want Dimma forward we need someone to fill the MASSIVE hole it leaves down back. Hardwick would be top 5 in the comp small defenders so we lose so much so that we can play him as our 5th best small forward.

I keep looking at the McInerney/Starcevich footage and can't for the life of me see that he made contact to the head or at least minimal contact. It just looks so benign. Is there clear footage? Could it have just been the whiplash combined with the concussion history?

I'm all for protecting the head and appropriate sanctions (Scrimma has to get at least two for what he did) but we can't be pinging guys for outcome when there are other factors at play.

Battle and Barrass are great pick ups, but why is there jizz all over your screen?

You are right, you don't have to be hit in the head for concussion. Brain hitting skull from whiplash. Kind of like boiled egg in a jar of water. It does seem history makes it even easier, McCartin and what is it, Starcevich 3 in 6 months... doctors will never be sure if a player who returns is ready is that vulnerable but a history is a good predictor of what we are talking about. AFL docs do not have super powers.

I don't have an answer, if in doubt sit it out... even if there is no clear doubt, it can still end in these bad career concerning/ending examples. More research needed to know 100% and answers may not be soon.

Lolololol.

My 5 year old who was 3 at the time decided it was a good idea to unscrew a broom and with the stick part of the broom with the screw out the other side make beautiful jizz stains on the TV.

I will never have nice things again.

What did Sam say?
He was asked if he thought the game was becoming too long (they’d shown a graphic that the average quarter length was about 32-33 mins in round 1).

He responded that he likes that it’s a game of attrition and that he understands why some older players “getting long in the tooth” would prefer to see the game shortened.

What did Sam say?
Garry Lyon tried to go into a thing about how Quarters are too long. Bevo shut it down first saying, stats are skewed due to 40+ minute quater in dogs game from mclean injury and that nobody is complaining about the length. Better removing interchange cap.

Mitchell then said, the only ones who want shorter quarters are old players trying to hang on to their careers a bit longer. Fans, don't want it, coaches don't want it etc..
