Hawkins punched Stratts twice with a closed fist, on the jaw, a few years ago, he reeled backwards. But guess what? No penalty for him. It’s a cats player, so he won’t be suspended, He could knock out a player, and he still won’t be penalised

Really enjoying the Frawley show on SEN
So many funny moments that I had forgotten about
Appeal on the way.Wow, Hawkins banned for one week. Can’t believe it! Can you just hear what the cats are saying.
I had this message come up on my screen, that he was banned for next week. Yet when I read AFL live, it doesn’t read that. ConfusionAppeal on the way.
That one was truly bizarre. Hit Stratts pretty bloody hard. But Porkins has also been suspended for some soft hits too. Overall he has form and surely the 1 week stays. I can only imagine if Sicily did this to one of their players the hanbaggers and Scott would be crying foul and demanding weeks.Hawkins punched Stratts twice with a closed fist, on the jaw, a few years ago, he reeled backwards. That Barry Hall part is true. Although Swans also had a court injunction ruled on Dunkley many years ago to allow him to play in a final. That was disgraceful.Looking forward to the legal argument in the appeal. It will be great. This will be up there when Sydney successfully argued that there was no such thing as behind play when they got Barry Hall off.
* May not have happened
Maybe. I thought it was strange he got a week given previous incidents that have been overlooked and it's taken Geelong stars to repeatedly hit people in the head to get rubbed out. The timing of the release of the Willie Rioli drug test was curious, too. No performance enhancing drugs found, then the AFL rub him out real quickly. Couldn't be that the AFL might be nudging it toward a Richmond/Collingwood GF? Probably not, but it's a good story.It is one week, easy to downgrade to a fine.
Surely has to get a week now?
Or even two?
He's on the spectrum without doubt, no eye contact, blank look into the distance when talking to people. Doesn't take prompts and waits for exact and direct wording. Classic signs.Nah - just a $15,000 fine.
Heard Greene talking after the game. Had never really listened to him before. If he wasn’t an AFL player he’d be in jail right now - no doubt in my mind.
Yeah there is something not quite right about Greene. Lucky he is a footballer.Nah - just a $15,000 fine.
