I looked at the Collingwood board and saw that their Priority Group 1 registration time is 8am-1pm How come they get an extra 2 hours and we don't!? o_O  I could have used that extra 2 hours. As could have the other Priority 1 members who didn't register in that time frame.

In 2008, there were packages available through other clubs (I bought my package through the Essendon Football Club) and through authorised package re-sellers. There should still be tickets available through some channel.

Great hopefully if we win then there are still some packages available. Don't care about price, i just want in! :p

BLB23, This from the HFC Grand final ticketing brochure (page 4) which was sent out:

Members who were successful in obtaining a GF ticket will automatically be charged for tickets once it has been confirmed that HFC will participate in the GF. This will occur 22 Sep or 23 Sep. Please ensure you have sufficient funds for all tickets (based on the highest ticket price) on your nominated credit card.

I don't think I'll ever be so happy to see a chunk of money dissapear from my credit card as I will be on Sat night / Sunday if it happens !

I guess that will be the quickest way to find out if you were successful in the ballot.

Well you have to allow for the parole officers to help them fill in the form ;)

If we make the Grand Final. How do we know if we are succesfull in obtaining a Grand Final ticket. Does our Credit Card/Debit Card funds get deducted on Sunday morning, or is it Sunday night?

My other question is, if I'm not successfull in getting a Grand Final ticket threw the ballot. Will there still be Grand Final Packages Tickets still available on Saturday night to purchase or will they be gone by then?

Much Appreciated. :)

Yes. No question there will be.

If you want the best seats then rush in and get them... if you want the cheapest then wait til later in the week

There's far less avenues to buy GF tickets this year than in previous years though

AFL Event Office, Etihad Stadium and only a handful of clubs

If you want the best seats then rush in and get them... if you want the cheapest then wait til later in the week

They are more expensive this year, you might get a better deal out of Etihad later in the week

No offense mate but if 3 hours isn't enough to to a 3 min application, hows another 2 hours going to help?

I know it only takes a few minutes to fill out, but sometimes people do forget to register. I looked at the time and it was 5 minutes past 11 o clock. What's worse was i had to wait 3 years to become a Gold Member, after being a Silver member for 3 years. I thought this year was a good chance to guarantee GF tickets with a Gold Membership should we make it. My one chance to gain access to GF tickets and i blew it big time! lol  Just hope that there is some Packages available on Sunday.

They are crap seats, but there'll be empty seats in front of you. Just wait until 10 minutes before the game starts and it'll be obvious which rows in front of you haven't been sold
How come pre-booking and paying a fee gets you crap seats? Should I have just rocked up on the day and get GA tickets?

Does anyone know what the price diff is?

you booked the cheapest seats... where did you think they'd be???

Follow my advice from earlier and you'll end up sitting in the $110 seats in the first few rows of the top deck

Or just stand on the ground level

I just thought - there was a form sent out that could be filled in - mine is at work so I cant read it now - do you still have yours ?

Edit: I looked at the form again and it is to assist with phone booking.

I did, however think that the allowance of an extra two hours this week is pretty much an admission that the system stuffed up or was inadequate.
Have you tried calling with a protest since ? It might be worth a go

hell they give people longer to vote in the government of the country - its discrimination against workers and all that

The club sent out a SMS on the registration day at 8.34am reminding people about P1 Registration! o_O

it seems even 8am to 1pm causeed problems for the magpies fans as todays time is 8am to 2pm for priority 1 (3pm to 9pm for priority 2) they havent even bothered with priority three.

Thats exactly TWICE the time hawks fans got - very good grounds for a protest I think

Hi Guys,

I have two tickets Q35-S row AA which I'm no longer using for the game on Saturday night. I'm willing to sell these well below their cost. Tickets purchased for $117.00, I'm willing to sell for $85.00 for both.

If you know anyone interested please pass on my email on to them and I will be in contact with them.

I contacted the MCC about this because I reserved some seats and they're up in bloody Q38.

The answer was that they make only a small portion of the seats available for reserve - and this is for people who aren't able to make it to the ground on the day early enough to grab a better seat. It may be different in AFL members - but it is actually better for me to rock up at the ground when the gates open at 2:30, sprint to my preferred seat, wrap a scarf around it then head off for dumplings, then come back to the G right on bounce time - than it is for me to be organized and pay some money a week in advance.

So look out for some flying elbows because I'm pretty keen to get good seats.

Just won earlier today 2 tickets to Saturdays game, I'm an Essendon supporter so not going. I am giving 2 tickets away for FREE. Only thing is, that whoever wants them, would have to come to my area to pick them up either Friday Night or Saturday Morning.

I am getting them delivered by express post and should (hopefully) get them tomorrow in the mail.

If interested just send me a Conversation on here. If all goes well, I will organise a place and time in my area also in that Private Conversation.

Remember, I am not asking for money for these 2 tickets. I am wanting to give them out for free.

What seats you may ask ? at the time I got the call, I didn't think of asking that. Just sent an email to the company I won them from. Hoping to a reply sometime this afternoon.
