Haaland is a robot but at no point in his career has he ever been better than Mo Salah.

If someone asked you “Say something nice about Loris Karius?”, I am sure we will be sitting around for the next 45 minutes waiting for you to finish.

That Liverpool/Spurs game was probably the most entertaining EPL game I’ve watched all year. It felt like the stream of exciting plays was more continuous than in your average 9 min extended highlights reel. In spite of the final result being more or less set very early in the match, it was a thrilling start to the morning.

3-6 is ugly, but if spurs had sat in and defended deep they lost likely lose 2-0 anyway. May as well have a crack
We've sat back and defended with better players and lost to Liverpool. Simple minds in the English media will say its as simple as sitting back and not conceding 6. Sure, we lose a limp 3 nil.

When we did they under Conte or Mourinho we cop it for not sticking to the club ethos of daring to do

The previous games against Fulham and Newcastle were arguably better. Certainly not boring.

The Ange disciples seem to have a binary view. You either attack or park the bus. Liverpool’s first two goals were diagonal crosses from well outside the box, which should be bread and butter for an organised defence.

Ange admitted he has no interest in training for set pieces, and clearly doesn’t value an organised defence. Was Trent afforded that much time because the players aren’t good enough? Or was there a failure to identify the threat and property instruct the players?

Hooray for a nine goal game to entertain the neutrals, though. Much appreciated.

Before last night’s game Spurs had conceded same number of goals as Chelsea and were equal third or fourth best in the league. Not bad with those injuries.

A high line is not just to catch teams offside. It reduces the space for teams to play out from defence and to counterattack, with a press increases chance of getting the ball back in good position. So it helps the team retain possession and therefore defend better.
The space both Liverpool midfielders and attacking players had though was seriously crazy.

Spurs were good at pressing the back 4, but the midfield three had a field day, as did the front three. Spurs simply were not tight enough - there was no man marking at all.

And Liverpool has scored 6 while carrying Gapko who was unsighted for the whole game. It is mental.

He was quite handsome
Who? ;)

Haha I actually feel for Karius. One game kinda destroyed his career.
No it didn't - he was simply not that good

Our midfield is awful currently. Players were just running past Bissouma all day, at least a couple of the goals came from him not tracking runs

He had almost no interest tracking back. For two of the goals at least 3 attackers ran past him. On another 2 teammates got past him too.

For a number 6 to show such little desire to track back is appalling. If ange is okay with that, he won't last at the top level. But I'd imagine Bentancur comes back into the role. And once we get a fit centre back Gray will go past him at 6 too

Did Ange say that he has no interest in training for set pieces or that he has no interest in hiring a specialist set piece coach? Because those are two very different things.

I’m not really sure what Spurs fans and Ange critics are expecting from this side.

They’re contending very heavily for the league cup. Fans have been whinging about going so long without a trophy yet they’ve knocked out two contenders in the competition, should be backing him in heavily on this one and hope they can somehow catch Liverpool on a off day.

Europa, just outside making the final 8 automatically and with their run home they should squeeze themselves in it. At worst they make the final 16 and continue their run from there.
Again they could give the comp a bit of a shake here if they can maintain their squad.

EPL, yes people can say they are 11th but they are also 4 pts off City and 5 pts off 5th.
Any side is these spots in between can charge up the table quickly if they get a run of good results.
Obviously the Fulham, Palace and Ipswich results are the ones that have hurt their standings in particular but they’ve smashed City, Utd and had a crack against Chelsea and tried to take it up to Liverpool.

Depth seems to be the issue here and managing all three competitions with a high tempo style is the main challenge that is threatening to derail their PL season.

These same spurs fans whinging about their vulnerability out the back are the same ones who moaned about the four style of Mourinho, Nuno and Conte so I really don’t know what they want?

How anybody thinks Martinez is a good defender has me stumped. Utterly horrendous on that third goal.
He's had a few stinkers since the change in formation.

Oh for sure, he was never that great to begin with but I still feel he could have had a far better career that what he did if that game never happened.

It didnt just destroy his confidence but his reputation too so any team looking at him as an option were like, oh ... that guy from the CL final. Haha
