Palace are going to be very tricky. Not very confident.
The cup match might tell us a bit because theres no way Arteta doesn't field a near full strength side.

If Palace play just the kids mid week and rest their best, I think we will end up tired and Palace might turn us over on the weekend.

Any more dropped points is probably our season over if it isn't already.

My concern is the lack of creativity and goals from the left.

Yeah Martinelli hasn't kicked on like he should have and is pretty inconsistent. His good games are excellent, they are just not often enough.

I don't see us competing for the title, but who knows, it's a long season. We will see.

Was only a couple weeks ago you were saying you’re back and everyone needs to sit up and take notice. One draw at home and all of a sudden you’re no longer competing for the title! It’s from one extreme to the other with you guys.

It’s a long season, plenty of twists and turns to come. With City dropping off, there’s not much between the teams at the top, it’s all up for grabs. You gotta keep the belief, Cruyffy.

Yeah I was, and we looked like the side we did last year.

But two draws in a row - granted Fulham are tricky - and Everton at home, who we absolutely should be beating is not good enough.

Of course it's only December, but we've been ravaged by injuries, and you guys seem to be doing very well. You still have a lot of tough fixtures to come, but the gap for error is so tight at the top, we seem to keep increasing it, and in the wrong way.

Arsenal look weak in attack, Chelsea look weak in defence, City look weak through the midfield

Liverpool are strong everywhere. Be very surprised to see em lose it this year right now they are clearly the best team in it
I wouldn't say we are weak in attack, because Timber/Odegaard/Saka causes mayhem and Saka is top tier.

The problem is we have one side doing everything, and the other side doing nothing. And a big part of that is constantly injured LBs, a L8 position on rotation from which Martinelli suffers.

We are weak down one side, its not JUST the attack.

Weak in attack relative to Liverpool and overly reliant on set pieces.
It's a weakness. Liverpool don't have an no obvious one this year

Tierney has been on the bench the last couple of games. Maybe chuck him in against Palace in the League Cup. He's not the best defender but he's good going forward. If he breaks again then send him back to Celtic.

Unlikely. 3rd game in a week with an extremely thin squad due to injuries
Hopefully Spurs can do us a favour.
If anyone plays FPL they should be captaining Salah this week!

Would be surprised if there's less than 5 goals scored in this game. And he will have his hand in nearly all of them

Always believed in Everton. I'm sure they can take points off Chelsea to help us out.
