Wouldn't read too much into a match that was played on a cow paddock that Deer Park had never played on and a match where some absolutely shocking umpiring ( field & goal ) at crucial times determined the eventual outcome. MP are a good solid side but not anywhere near as good as Deer Park when playing the way they played against Greenvale. Deer Park were flat from the get go and when you play catch up against the opposition and the umpires you rarely win. The league needs to set standards for clubs to adhere too when it comes to grounds and amenities. If you want to play premier then don't dish up a cow paddock of a ground.
Both teams played on the same ground I presume!

Unlike Longblow to blame other parties for a defeat. Wrfl umpiring must be a standard above Edfl

Sorry, that door has been well and truly permanently slammed shut. For better or worse, you’re hoist by your own petard.

Doubt they'd consider having them back. It must feel odd for them now that the boot is on the other foot, aye? They don't seem to like it much.

DP can always try the Ballarat league or the Geelong & District league LOL.

Always a raft of excuses when they lose.
I reckon the odds are 3-1 that they'll blame a landslide in Peru for their next loss, it will never be attributed to inferior skills or game plan.

Yes we were off today, but Marby out played us and I think Brodie got the chocolates with his game plan and changes to nullify us. The goal from Smartie that was awarded a behind was laughable. Conditions were horrible but not the difference at the end of the day.
On to next week.

Which game where you watching today....don't blame the ground/Umpires...fact was MP wanted the ball more and used it better when they did. I've been reading all this crap on here about DP, fact 2 from what I saw today....they're "No Good"!

Outclassed and out coached I'd say. To blame the umpires and the ground is poor. Why were they flat, aren't they trying to play finals? They are 1 and 2 now, it's not like they've been up playing good footy for a month and are tired.

“The umpiring determined the outcome.”

The final margin was 29 points, nine scoring shots.

Deer Park are perhaps fortunate not to have lost by more!

He worked (played) for a few years at a place called the Brisbane Lions… would have probably learnt a thing or two playing there!

Has also worked as the multicultural talent programs lead at the AFL since 2022.
Cheers, full aware of his playing resume, but wasn’t in regards to football employment.
Again it’s a tough region and we all want to see the Jets thrive

DP had no chance yesterday with the umpires cheating, playing on a cow paddock , 1.5 degrees under their optimum playing temp , 3kms over their travel limit, bbq tent aroma playing with their concentration levels, concerns over contracting Ross river fever from mosquitoes flying up from the river and one ten year old barracking too loud down in the far pocket . Edfl need to act on these issues to even up the competition

Great tight game at Pacco today. Pacco rely on too few and are nowhere near the side they were last year .
I watched thought the standard was pretty ordinary. Well done to my team greenvale to win with what I thought was a very undermanned team. Pacco have problems the main one being the coach I honestly think he is ordinary. Never seems to make a move and I reckon the players have no idea what his game plan is or what plan b is when things aren’t going right.

And here was me thinking the pub TAB voucher machine must have been on the blink

Here he is. Clearly still fantasying over Deer Park. Who do you follow or are you too much of a coward to say?
