Was out watching MV and burnside yesterday while the Saints had the bye
Let’s just say I don’t see anyone getting near MV when they play there best

Saints V Fog….Fog by 52. fog to win the flag, nothing surer, hopefully Saints competitive on Saturday.

districts v burnside. Must win for burnside, but Districts really improving and looking to cement third spot. districts by 33

ES v Jags. Sunbury by 250. jags to be commended for their resilience so far.

KP v OP OP by 50. KP need a big scalp though…

Haddy will move up from second last after this weekend without a kick in vain!

it’s a 2 horse race for the flag but MV are much better then oak park from what I’ve seen and padmore will win the comp medal after what I saw on the Weekend

Padmore played well first time against northern. Saints just couldn’t stop him and don’t have anyone to stop a crafty skilled player with good goal sense. Was a great display by him and the Fog. the Saints skills were deplorable, the last two outings been The same skill wise.

What a joke Tribunal decision overturned on appeal - did anybody bother to watch the vision ? - Full front on contact (crudely)
Obviously the tribunal based on their results throughout the year are clearly out of touch - any chance EDFL for next season that tribunal/appeals board are on the same page in regards to knowledge and understanding of consequences for actions outside the laws of the game.

Seems you can headbut someone and get a reprimand but make forceful contact and get 3 matches. Surely they show a justification of why they make their decisions. If people knew their process, the decision would be more accepted.

If you look at the vision on the EDFL website - Coburg Districts V. Burnside Heights, 3rd quarter starting at around 15.30’.

This decision is bewildering to say the least and is clearly the wrong message To be sending. Given the significant focus on head injuries at the moment - an act like this deserves weeks.

2 years ago yes, but with the crackdown on front on and forceful contact to the head, no its a report and weeks, no matter what happened to his opponent - he looked fine on the video, but its the act not the outcome

Correct. The report was for contact to the head with with player having their head over the ball. BH proved that the initial contact was across the top of the chest with the CD player looking forward. The good thing with the games being taped is you can use slo mo and still shots. Well argued I would say.

I know most people are getting soft and very sensitive and stating the bleeding obvious should not be a crime. But umpires need to be able to to do their job with out abuse or smart arse comments about the appearance this would not be tolerated in a work place and this is their work place . We are so short on umpires we need every one we can get
