Davis, Hopper, Sheil, Cogs, Kelly, Greene, Lobb, Cameron, Paton, Whitfield, Shaw, Ward, Scully and Taranto.
Remember I said average of $600k but I can't see any of those being much under $500k, with a few over $700k

Davis has never been spilled what he got to move from Adelaide, likely got huge overs initially but wouldn't be surprised if he has done what Scully did.
Hopper, one journo said $500k, seems a bit high tbh
Shiel, $600k ish, bought into the team culture early, could get a lot more and will one day, just a question of when.
Cogs, signed before the Prelim in 2016, team was flying, publicly stated he didn't hesitate to sign, would be surprised if he was on a cent over $500k.
Kelly, $800k
Greene, rumoured to be $5mil over 6 years, so just over $800k
Lobb, bit like Cogs, signed early when the team was flying, would be a lot under what he could get elsewhere.
Cameron, at the time he signed it was reported $4mil over 5 years, $800k
Paton, loves Sydney, just signs on the dotted line each time, club has re-signed him in the past after ACL injuries. Would be under $500k
Whtfield, as above, loves Sydney, re-signed after his ban, under $500k
Shaw, took a pay cut to get an extra year to help keep Kelly, his deal after leaving Pies was 5 years at $3.5mil with Colingwood paying some of it. Under $500k
Ward, moved for $800k and has since resigned for 5 years.
Scully, moved for $6mil over 6 years, rejigged his contract like Shaw in 2016 for $500k a year until 2021.
Taranto, second year player so still on set contract, be under $200k I think. Might go up to $300k max next season.

What do you think about the Bulldogs’ pick 7 for Dylan?..

He’d be an incredible third fiddle to Bont & Macrae...
I think it's close to his objective value maybe a tad under.
I dont belive we'll trade this year because he's he's an important cog in our campaign next year. If we were forced to trade I hope we'd talk to North about Preuss plus a haggle over picks.

Even if they negotiate with Carlton, Shiel has to agree to the trade. This is not NBA

I'm aware of that.

But GWS dont have to accept unders from Hawthorn even if Shiel agrees to head there.

Carlton are in a position to take a few salary dumps from GWS, trade our future 1st (likely a top 5 pick) and throw in a second 1st rounder this year (cashing in our 2 early seconds for a mid to late 1st rounder).

We have the money and the draft hand to get it done.

Shiel should pick Hawthorn.

He fits best there. Mitchell, Howe, Worpel doing the grunt work and Shiel, Burton, O'Meara adding the class is a very nifty midfield and well balanced.

They're clearing their decks for someone, pushing Roughy out.

I know Richmond is the frontrunner, but I wouldnt rule out Lynch to the Hawks just yet.

Shiel would be silly to move anywhere at the moment. Next year he is a free agent (correct me if I'm wrong) and will have his pick of the teams. He is in a very good set up that should have a proper tilt at the premiership next year (too many injuries for this season). You would hope he gets one more season with the Giants in before he moves on.

Interesting but I think you'll need the cash to stop Cogs, Kelly, Lobb and taranto being poached as it's hard to knock back 50-100% pay rises.

I'm not saying I know GWS cap position but you need a lot of 'loves Sydney and happy to get 60% less' type players to keep the awesome talent you have on one spot.

As if Hawks would give up unders.... if they want him we will give up to get him in. But there could be someone else that Hawks should target

Yep. All good lists need buy in to stay together. Also front loading of contracts is unknown so hard to say exactly a teams salary cap situation just on average numbers of long term contracts.

No weren't. Roughy is signed for next year & we already have around an estimated figure of 2mil in space...

Apart from the re-signing of Gunston, the other boys haven't signed contracts for a while.

We lost Lewis, Mitchell (Paid some of his contract last year), Hodge, Vickery (500K) & now Rioli.

Only got in Impey & draftees because Jaeger & Mitchell coming over were before Lewis & Mitchell went & Clarko which I can quote said 'we could have kept Sam Mitchell & Jordan Lewis with the new boys & we woulda been tight on the cap.

So Roughy don't have to go anywhere & we don't have to fiddle with anything until we have agreement with player that they want to be at our club.

So financially we don't have to make room & Roughy is not going anywhere, Clarko said it a couple of days ago, from all the meetings he's had with Roughy, they've come to that Roughy wants to be our jumper next year & Clarko will respect that. He didn't push Jordy Lewis or Sam Mitchell out He just looked out for them.

Gws and other club fans are worried about hawks getting Dylan, they should be worried about not one, but two mids.
It’s one of those weird situations where people will be praying hawks get Lynch so they have no more wiggle room to chase A grade mids.
