Maybe you search the house and garden first, then the closest neighbours and adjoining blocks before driving further than a 3YO could actually walk? Maybe you dial 000 first or talk to the neighbours first, or your spouse, or your mother to let them know where you are going? Or maybe you are not really looking for a lost child?

I read that the proposed charges sent to DPP were interfere with corpse / pervert the course of justice. I never read or heard about manslaughter or failing to provide aid.

I'd read 'considered' so I guess if the ODPP thinks they can lay that on as well, why not? If the belief is that he fell from the balcony, of course the question of whether his death was instantaneous is going to be probed at some point.

Seven years is too late.
It was too late even after 6 months when Jubelin took over.
Most of the unanswered questions should have been asked the day William disappeared.
The FF did not even make a formal statement in 2014.

Like all cases of missing persons, we want to see them solved.

Everyone agreeing with the same theory on the internet doesn't solve a case. I happen to think the police are barking up the wrong tree, so I give my opinion.

I also pay taxes and don't want to see them wasting their time.

That's what they're pushing, or have proposed.

We don't really know what evidence they have, there's still some more to be heard at this inquiry.

FM says she went for a drive.
Police believe FM went for a drive.
What else would police have?
Has there been any more mention about what FM was meant to have been throwing out the window?

You’re probably right. Maybe the drive is a solid.

We haven’t heard anything from the alleged witnesses that saw the FM throw something out of the car.

A lot of media reported it at the time, but so far we have not heard anything about this through the inquest - yet. IMO

Just like seeing a number of pedos and assuming an abduction.
Once you rule out getting lost (which now seems a reasonable thing to do), you have to look at the evidence and make sense of it.
There is very little evidence but we do know about the drive. The drive does not fit with an accident. The drive does fit with something more sinister happening to William and his body needing to be disposed of to cover it up. But for some reason, nobody wants to go there.
