Curnow requires more surgery, but isn't expected to miss too much of pre-season.

They made their depth worse and didn’t bring anything in to make a significant impact in 2025. Some injuries this year, especially to their top end and we are on for a good couple of picks out of them.

IF and that's a big IF we actually did give West Coast a choice of our picks or Carlton's I don't know why they wouldn't go 1 of each so if the sides are at opposite sides of the ladder they could have at least gotten a higher 2nd round pick.

You’re right - the Eagles thinking we will be worse than Carlton ups the ante and makes this even more fun (unless Eagles are right but… they won’t be…)

We aren't trying to bea tthem at their anything. We want everyone else to beat them, at their best worst whatever. No one wants their players injured. but if they lose every game no matter who they have on the park, I am celebrating. (Yes I am saying "Oh poor Carlton!" But I won't be saddened by their ladder position if they finish below North.
