Called it? What else you call? Lance Armstrong to win an 8th Tour de France? Bernard Tomic to win Wimbledon?Called it.
And now to double down - Collingwood will finish bottom 3 this year.

How does it relate to my question? Is that from a neutral perspective?
How does it relate to my question?
So do it.I could ask the same question
Rowell > LDUSeems we told LDU “no”.
That is factual. We might also tell Rowell “no”, yet.Rowell > LDU
Hard to argue with any of that rational and logical analysis!Ok this is my take on the where to now for Collingwood:
2025 a year of blending lets say.
See some glimpse of the future all the while we celebrate pendles side howe etc......
With this type of blend we have we are still in the flag frame.
Kind of more of a flag smoky this year.
2023 job done 2023 premiership is all ours.
2025 kind of taking a more back row relaxing feel lets now see the likes of gws lions hawks belt each other up.
All the while still remaining handy.
2023 was the best thing ever at Collingwood sure had one of those 1990 feels about it.
2025 now we are smarter club nowadays.
I sence another flag this year or next.
Still just in the frame.
2025 will explain what we do for the rest of the decade.
To me its the year we know what direction we take.
2026 see 2025.
2027 will be fun and methings a rebuilding phase is needed.
Snare another flag in say 2029 or 2030.
But for now steady as she goes no rush like in 2023 to win that flag.
Kind of job done now lets the other teams belt each other up is what i think.
And its a joy to watch too.
Collingwood can play finals this september.
2025 will be a far better then 2024.
Well run clubs have success and the pies are one of those.
Got of a best in the business approach.
By 2030 i think they can win 2 more flags.
There are some very astute posts in response to Jake98's question. They're going straight towards the bottom of the ladder and personally I'm looking forward to it quite a bit
Still a long way to go Fadge! Old bodies don't tend to look all that great over the course of a long season
Except....Still a long way to go Fadge! Old bodies don't tend to look all that great over the course of a long season
And Collingwood are considerably older than that 2022 Geelong teamExcept....
Geelong were the oldest team in the history of the competition to win the flag in 2022, only see Collingwood stake that claim in 2023.
It's a game for experienced minds and mature bodies nowadays. You also have to be good.
I think it's time for you to give it up.And Collingwood are considerably older than that 2022 Geelong team
Long > Rowell > LDURowell > LDU
Just updated based on a discussion in another thread.Long > Rowell > LDU >>>>>>>>>>> Walsh
And Collingwood are considerably older than that 2022 Geelong team
