And Collingwood are considerably older than that 2022 Geelong team
Wrong.Who is also your only good player under 23.

I think people have missed the shift where even if these older players are still in the side, they're not the guys we're relying on to win games now.Interestingly can’t see the Pies side getting younger too quickly.
Out of the over 30’s, plenty will have a case to keep going;
- Elliott (surely)
- Crisp (absolutely)
- Mihocek (surely)
- Membrey (has a deal)
- Pendlebury (form holding up, games record in sight)
- Sidebottom (clock has been wound back)
- Mitchell - likely gone
- Howe - could be gone, form is decent though
- Cox - could be gone
Feels like only 3/10 will move on….

We have several years before they need to be replaced and who knows what our youth will look like by then.
I think Harrison will return before the end of the season, so I don't think they'll pick up a player in his place. One factor to look out for is whether we bring 2 players in the MSD to cover for Reef and Harrison. Given Reef and Harrison’s onfield roles are likely to be covered by our existing list, we’ll probably recruit in the MSD for the future …
… and if we do that, then there are two more list spots we’ll need to free up at end of season.

McRae did say that a few weeks ago, but we haven't heard anything about him needing another surgery or anything, so I assume it's more a "deload period" rather than a re-injury of some kind.I read somewhere he’d had a setback in his recovery
They're going straight towards the bottom of the ladder and personally I'm looking forward to it quite a bit
This list will get us at least five flags over the next couple of years.
With potential. They should finish top 4 again but everyone knows it's better to have a young list.
Should finish top 4 again but I'm sure you'd rather be in North's position given how young their list is.LOL
Are you trying to “school” me on the team I support ? Oh my!
Where is the proven formula that you need “under 23s” to be successful? We have a plethora of top talent at the 28/29 range.
Pies also have a lot of salary cap space to improve there list in the coming 2/3 years through FA.
We also have a bloke by the name of Nick Daicos.
Don’t worry about the Pies jakey boy, we don’t stay down for long ever.
Toss up between North and Richmond.Should finish top 4 again but I'm sure you'd rather be in North's position given how young their list is.

Say that again?Bank the wins now while they’re full strength and see where they land first a tilt.
