Craig Cameron said Collingwood aren’t infront for pick 13 but that we are prepared to deal with them. You’re a club, not the club for talks on 13.
Why are you here? You aren’t going to see favourable trade posts for Gold Coast on the Coll board (like we have any say in the actual trade) . Likewise if we went through the two pages of the trade thread on the Gold Coast board

We’re already overpaying for a HB flanker in Rioli, we certainly don’t need to overpay for two. If we don’t get Noble we’ll be fine.

And you absolutely do not get Houston without us so we actually do have leverage here.

If you call never making finals in your entire existence "fine" then power to you, friend.

Trade Degoey that's nuts no way. We need to gun players you don't trade then off If we bring in Houston and we got Perry man take other picks to this years draft.
Stockpile up as we will have plenty of $$$$$ for some decent 24 plus year olds in next years free agency
Next year we retire say Howe, maybe Cox, Elliot, Sidebottom, we get Treloar's salary off our books .
We go out and sign ready made mid twenties gun players not kids starting off.
Then following year we lose maybe Pendlebury. Mitchell, Mihochek ,Hoskin elliot, and a few more and we replace again with ready made younger players this is how we keep the balance plus ad in Maguane plus we lose Grundys salary off our books
We must be strategic and dont do a North Melbourne we balance out with young gun free agents not in experienced darft pick.We can get a couple from the drafts we stagger the exits of wexperience and bring in youthful gunswe will have draft $$$$$ to do it.I think this is waht Macare wants. We need a balance of Youth middle tirered and exp[erience in the side to stay competitive for flags.

Stop pissing all over our Houston premature celebratory campfire

Go back in a week, that’s still all there’d be. It’s like an episode of Days of our Lives - if you miss a day, it’ll be exactly the same when you next go in there.

Yes, with Rioli only, you’ll be just fine.
Suns will finish 12th and not 13th next season.

I don’t want to get a ban again for an organised assault, but maybe we should all go post our news in their trade thread, just to give it some activity!

I guess the Suns will be overpaying twice then so why you feel the need to beat your chest over it shall have too remain a mystery. In summary GC have no leverage, if it doesn't get done we keep Noble and don't need Houston. We keep someone we'd like to keep and you don't get what you want, simple.

Imagine being a Richmond supporter. As much as you'd be basking in your 17, 19 & 20 glory, what an absolute shit show. Graham on the way out now as well.

I get they'll be excited by their draft haul this year and rightfully so but you wouldn't go into next year with much hope of winning ANY games.
It's slightly of topic here - but tbh I think it's the right play from the tigers.

Given the market isn't stacked full of stars that can pull them out of the hole they're in, hitting the draft is a better alternative - rather than cuff themselves to a lifetime of mediocrity like St Kilda have done by paying up for middle of the road talent that never takes them deep in to finals, but keeps them stranded in middle ground and away from the bottom 4.

Given the Tassie drafts loom and it will be a mess for any clubs to secure elite young talent, load up on talent now and batten down the hatches for a rough few years while they develop is a solid call from Richmond.

Thanks for the update - cheers Dimma

Sorry to burst your bubble and fantasy world, Clubs don't go out and show interest for 8 to so months like GC have with Noble and offer a big deal, then not go through with it. It puts other players, managers and clubs off dealing with them.

It'll get done, Pick 13 will go our way in the deal.

Blues Board is officially in meltdown over Houston and Collingwood. Hehehe.
