Based on Ratagoulea’s supposed trade value in Mackies head, even if we’re trading the real Keefe in it’s a top 3 pick or GTFOmaybe if we can disguise him as lachie keefe.
He'll get his back-to-back when we repeat what we did in the 20ssad he has to miss out on back to back after missing out with Geelong
Ginni is our new depth ruck after missing Goldy. He's safeDoes this mean Ginni's gone?
Hasn't changed from his playing days thenNope. Mackie just being a knob when it comes to trades.
Why are people talking about Mackie and Geelong? Are we interested in one of their players?
I would love Jamarra, but that sounds like bulls**t to me.Fly might have to part with Maggie Grace to get that deal over the line, can’t see him doing that.
You can actually set your watch to the Trade Period activity each and every year. Was never gonna be that busy all week but gee today is a fizzer so far in comparison to yesterday!
Yes,the way other clubs deal with us,we’d have to give up five first round picks and a player as well to get him.I would love Jamarra, but that sounds like bulls**t to me.
You can’t blame the Herald Sun’s inherent bias for the fact that Andrews is a crook and did an attrocious job! That's about as likely as the Herald Sun writing up what a good job Dan Andrews did.
Very interesting because earlier he said we wouldn't be exploring ruck depth. This reminds me, GW was on trade radio Monday and they asked him about the Goldstein interest. Went on to talk about his value working with our young ruckman Oscar Steene but didn't mention Begg at all. Immediately stood out to me and whether intentional or not I found it interesting.
I'd personally let Begg go given he was regularly thumped in the VFL and will need much longer than a year to get the body if he even reaches it.I agree with it being odd if we plan to keep him, but I’m not sure it means a play at a ruckman this late in the piece if we don’t and list spots are tight to have 3 on the senior list + Frampton. With Cox signed for a further 2 and Steene showing a bit at VFL level I think Begg either gets a “4th” rookie year or we park a move on another ruck until 2024. Hopefully it’s then Moyle!
I would love Jamarra, but that sounds like bulls**t to me.
Deadline day should be televised. Either have it as an event or power through the trades rather than elongating it out on blog websites. You can actually set your watch to the Trade Period activity each and every year.
Couple of trades done on the first day, so the media can throw out their line about "there's already movement!" Then it's a completely silent second or third day, then a flurry of activity that makes you think every trade will be done in time for tea. Then goes quiet again because Hutchy puts the clamps down and forces the AFL to have a trade embargo so 6pm-7:30pm on deadline day gets the ratings.
