Unable to complain? I think that's one thing people like him are very proficient atHe would have been on a 6 month probation, so unable to complain about being sacked as he wasn't a permanent employee.
I don't think the people or the organisation who are going to be dragged through the mud think it is a non-issueComplete non-issue generated for people who are lost if they are not being perpetually offended.
Typical that it is given oxygen on a woke website like bigfooty.
I mean if you are on probation, your job can end without any reason being given basically ( as i understand it).Unable to complain? I think that's one thing people like him are very proficient at
They wont, that demand is far fetched
Geez, I've read some shitty takes on this website, but you've outdone them all. Congratulations, I guess? This all started about 15 years ago when Henry what's his name from south America woke up one day and was upset by a name he had been called years earlier so he said all the Collingwood football club and everyone involved with it are racist and ignore all the countless good Eddie McGuire had done he must pay for his feelings being hurt. So trying to do the right thing Eddie hired an academic who has been permanently offended to do a review: if ms permanently offended found everything was fine she would be out of a job, if she found the Pies were closeted racists she and people like the one now making the accusations would have a high paid cruisey jobs: guess how it worked out
yeah, HS sensationalism
North would have been as well due to lack of financeIt's not just maguire, maguire is just one of them.
Maguire could do what he did because the club, board, staff allowed the casual racism to happen.
Mark my words, if collingwood is a sporting club in europe, it would have been shutdown in the early 2000s.
Interesting video.Same thing going on with Hawthorn FC. In the Pies scenario I have concerns with the motives of Mark Cleaver. Listening to him speak when he joined the club a year ago to his allegations today one might suggest he has done a massive turn around and that could be fueled by his own motives IMO.
International Day of People with a Disability: Staff Spotlight
In just 5 weeks, Mark Cleaver has had tremendous impact in their new role as Head of First Nations Strategy and Programs at Collingwood.www.collingwoodfc.com.au
He speaks in a manner that hints to a low tolerance for not getting his way IMO just my take.
So their punishment would be losing points in a year they're not making finals anyway? And dropping down the ladder to give them better draft picks? The AFL has been urged to strip Collingwood of premiership points should explosive fresh racism allegations be proven in court.
The Magpies, including chief executive Craig Kelly, are facing damning claims that on Monday were filed in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Mark Cleaver, the club's former head of First Nations strategy, is the sole applicant in the documents, while the Collingwood Football Club is the only respondent.
Pies back CEO Kelly amid allegations in court
Collingwood president Jeff Browne insists the Magpies aren't a racist club and has "totally and absolutely" backed chief executive Craig Kelly amid serious allegations filed in court.www.espn.com.au
So their punishment would be losing points in a year they're not making finals anyway? And dropping down the ladder to give them better draft picks?
They should be stripped of draft picks, not premiership points, and have access to their NGA removed.
Probably not, but if anything is to be considered it should be that. Stripping them of premiership points is worthless, they're not making finals anyway.Settle petal. No one is stripping any points, draft picks or NGA access.
I haven't seen who was making the demand, the earlier media reports just mentioned it, but seeing this is not an on field matter sanctioning the club by stripping points wont happen. For that there would need to be an on field action, or event which has impacted on field matters such as draft tampering or salary cap breaches.
Probably not, but if anything is to be considered it should be that. Stripping them of premiership points is worthless, they're not making finals anyway.
North would have been as well due to lack of finance
Collingwood traded their 1st round pick to Freo for Wayne Schultz Carey. lolThat's correct and if they are stripped of points do they fall to the bottom...then pick 1?
You don't understand how the real world works: he is an indigenous disabled non binary: a triple threat, he makes the rulesI mean if you are on probation, your job can end without any reason being given basically ( as i understand it).
It's not about the playing group, it's about the club "bringing the game into disrepute".He's suing. He would be wanting a financial settlement.
What does the playing group have to do with this? It's absurd to even suggest it, let alone get excited by the idea
None of these allegations even occurred during the footy season & have absolutely nothing to do with the players & team.
It was a line thrown out by Cleaver's lawyer to grab the attention of people like yourself. Sucked in.
Okay Clarry. It's not about the playing group, it's about the club "bringing the game into disrepute".
You were heavily in debt in the early 2000s (and still would be if you’d still weren’t getting hefty welfare from the afl)Oh really, last time i checked, 0 debt as of 2020, hows yours going? About -30 i heard
Yes, that is equivalentOkay Clarry.
