Confirmed Mr Bods is Hutchy
He reckons if we make our first ever finals we should sack Rocket and then make Dean Solomon coach for the finals. Gotta be one of the dumbest things said.
We finally get back on the winners list and they just criticize us. They also never actually talks about how we play. At least 'On the Couch" show vision of what we are doing right and wrong. These 4 clowns clearly know none of our players and don't bother to actually add some insight. Expect more from Lloyd given what he would know about the club.

To know me is to love me you fellas.im just working my way in to a long established group, 6months time I know it won't be so full on.

I did say that I was just passing on a story in regards to the SEN thing. I was keen on your reaction to it.

Now I was a little bit misquoted on something, I was saying to remove Rocket and have Solomon as an interim coach.

I was not saying to sack Rocket at seasons end and replace him with Solomon as the Long Term next coach.

I definitely want a proper process for the appointment of our next Coach, not a reactionary one.

A Suns Fan called SEN last night and relayed a story where he said on Saturday night he was talking to an Ex Suns player that was deregisteted last season (my guess Clay Cameron) and he said in his entire time at the Suns the longest conversation he had with Rocket was for about 3mins when Rocket told him he was being deregistered.

Make of that what u will. I'm just Passing on the story.
I've got mutual friends with Clay and I can definitely confirm that Clay was extremely close to being delisted at the end of 2015. He was personally told by Rocket that he basically has 2016 to set the world on fire or he's gone.

Needless to say, Clay was more or less a goner from that day forward, so I doubt Rocket had any interest in him given he wasn't a long term asset. He was basically filling a list spot because the club needed the spot filled.

I need to be very careful about this and say I was only guessing it was Clay. There were other fellas Deregistered last year too.

Russell, Tape and Stanley were deregistered too.

And Tape plays for Southport now

In another "Let's link everyone to the Suns" story Brian Waldron apparently said on SEN today that the AFL is leaning on Mark Evans (who doesn't seem that keen) to have a look at Nathan Buckley for next year. I know it's probably only rumour mongering but seriously.

This is like the third rumour this guy has said about the club in a few months. Didn't he also say John Barker was going to coach us next year?

Isn't Brian Waldron the germ that was running the Melbourne Storm when they deliberately cheated and had multiple Premierships stripped off them??

If so how is this lowlife now got oxygen in the media cycle???

Please tell me there are two distinctly different Brian Waldron's down there.

Want your opinions on something please for our next coach

R we at a point with our profile where we can bring in a low profile guy EG Dew/Solomon/Yze/Camporeale

Or

Do we still need to work on the profile of the club by bringing in a name EG Voss/Buckley/Roos/Clarkson

Bring in Dean Solomon as head coach....all the players have huge respect for him....heard that straight from a Sun's player's mouth!!

Respect and ability are two different things. And unfortunately we can't judge him either way on his coaching ability. That call will have to be made internally. I'm a fan of a total rebuild in the coaching department IF Eade goes. Not to say I don't like Solly, I'd just like a new coach to come in and bring in his assistants the way he wants

One of the commentators on SEN (sorry I don't know his name) just said "I know almost for certain that Nathan Buckley will be Coaching The Suns next year".

When Buckley last made Carrara his home in 1993 he couldn't get out of here quick enough.

I don't want to say I'd cancel my membership, but bring in Buckley as coach and I just don't think I'd have the same passion. I have a hatred for him and it just won't change... Unless maybe he delivered us a premiership

It does seem very odd given Collingwood has continually gone backwards and the disdain he has for us when he was at The Brisbane Bears (Carrara Team) but this rumour is gaining a lot of momentum now.

the insipidness enveloping that club have largely been caused by list management and external factors.
honestly think he's an above average coach. so it's rocket though.
what I'm trying to say is that they're in the same situation as us in a way. list management + coaching dept. are below average and it's gonna take a clean out to fix. luckily our cap situation is in okay shape - theirs is stuffed.

Difference is, Collingwood have one of the highest football department spend in the comp, they shouldn't be able to use the excuse of bad recruiting and assistants, their off field football management should be as good as anyone. Meanwhile we've been doing everything on a very modest budget in comparison.

yeah. it should be, but it hasn't been. what would be more stupid for them is, as you are saying, to not to admit/accept the situation they are in and try and fix it.
