Eagles Judd is what has him comparable for his era with the likes of Ablett, Buckley etc.
Carlton Judd was just not on that same level.
Yeah early 2007 Judd was otherworldly, it was like his 04-06 version in a bigger body, he was still so fast and explosive but even more muscular and strongI think the fact that he never fully recovered from that OP injury yet still remained amongst the very best players in the game is a testament to how bloody good he was. He had to completely reinvent his playing style and very few have done that with such success.
The most memorable things of 2007 are the emergence of GAJ & Geelong and Ben Cousins going off the rails... The most forgotten thing of 2007 is how good Judd was for the first two months - he was completely out of control until OP struck around Round 10.
