"Handball" is generous, I'm sure he would have thrown it out like always. Geelong really have mastered the art of chucking.

He is a very strong man Dangerfield without his centrer of gravity being turned 100% he either gets the kick away with his free arm or gets his arm free as degoey just holds him like a care bare not able to actually impede him cause of doc laws.

I hope you've got a mild one.

yeah so far it has been mild cough, mucus sore throat, headaches, body sweats, but day 4 and most those symptoms are clearing, my partner struggled a lot more with it she found it hard to breath with her lungs on fire for about 48 hrs before it eased. She said she can only imagine what those poor people who suffer that for months went through.

They'll learn a different technique rather than getting the rotation going.

Did Roughy look up to speed or rusty?

Looks ready. Thursday will be more intense so we will have a better idea during that match sim, but from what I saw, looks right to go.
Krueger probably another week.

Unless something changes on Thursday I can’t see Johnson debuting. Didn’t participate in the session with the group. Maybe he pulled up a bit sore from the vfl

Cal or Fin in for JDG then I'm guessing?

Lol when have you ever seen an unfit WA side? Neither wc or freo have ever been poor running teams even when they themselves are rat shit.
on the weekend ... go and watch .. but the fact they have already palyed 95% of their list tells the story .. they are Covid ravaged and not all completed pre season etc, and teh facyt their fitness coach , head coach and all who matter in the club acknowledge the fact that they wont be fully all be back on board and match fit (because of covid) for 4-6 weeks ..

If Johnson doesn't full train on thursday, yeah I'd think so. But if today was more about loadind, and Johnson is fine on thursday, I think he'll play. Unless Kreuger is ready. Can't see them playing both

Not a bad call if Krueger is given an extra week given the short turn around to the Brisbane game on Easter Thursday.

While I think we should account for West Coast even with the team that played Geelong on Saturday, I'd feel way more confident if Roughead replaced Madgen

I'm fine with Ash Johnson making his debut with Jamie taking on more midfield minutes

Roughead being in also allows more flexibility with Maynard and Daicos taking shots in the middle.

I will be very surprised if Henry goes out of the side he has been impressive to me when you look overall at the first 3 weeks. Developing nicely, exactly the phase we are in.
I'd be very surprised if we don't have a plan to give the younger players a rest where needed throughout the year.

I think Henry is going to be a ripper, but will there be a better week to rest him?

We want to win every game, but we won't win half our games if we don't manage the young guys.

We'll rest players during the season, but we'll need to balance that with giving young players enough time to settle in. I suspect that Ollie's fumbling is a bit of anxiety, but his best has been great. He might be a player that needs a decent block of games to really feel comfortable & perform more consistently.
I agree that he's going to be a special player in due course.
