They've still got to recover from GC - we play Thursday.
And we've just lost our best backman and will have an extra day to prepare over Adelaide. Let's hope they smash each other tomorrow

How tall is COS. Looks massive
Crows have 3x tall forwards.

Wiltshire has just about been BOG in the VFL his last two games, so you will be able to add him to that list soonish.
What do we do the week after against meek?I think we just need Stanley to ruck next week so we can cover Thilthorpe, Walker and Fogarty with Blitz, COS and SDK... and still one of them will need to rotate into the ruck to cover Stanley and have a bench spell.
Not sure how we cover them without Stanley, Kolo and J Henry playing and even if Stanley does play it'll still be a mission.
Unless we wanna play Zuthrie on Walker or something like that, I'm not sure what other option we have.
Pray. What do we do the week after against meek?
Take his bros spot or Neale?I'm wondering if by the time Henry is fit again he might return as a forward
It's just a way of speeding up that "getting himself sorted out" stepWhy?
Once he gets himself sorted out, he will have an inpact. I doubt the MC is thinking we nearly lose or did lose any games because OH was below his best.
Not directed at you btw, but, Why is there always so much criticism of a young player who is struggling even though we had a win?
Polkinghorne keeps improving as he is and I think he may get a shot before HenryI'm wondering if by the time Henry is fit again he might return as a forward
Krock spoke with Stanley post match and he sounds ready to back up next week if required
It was good listening to the chat with Rhys, he's happy with whatever role is required from him this year and is enjoying working with the next gen, teaching them what he can
I then caught bit of the Fox Footy coverage when I got home, and Jon Ralph reported that the late change with Blicavs out was made about mid-morning. Obviously Blicavs has woken up not doing too well, and Rhys got a call to let him know he was going to be playing seniors rather than the VFL game that he was preparing for - the #1 took the call pretty well as it meant he could get a little bit extra sleep instead of the match prep he was getting ready for
It then turned into a panel discussion with Ralph questioning if squad changes should be announced when the club is aware they'll be making changes and he cited a couple of clubs which have done that today - my view on that is there's a difference with making a change to the squad the day or two before the match as it then allows you to keep a full emergency list available, versus a change on the day
Both Jono Brown & Buckley were supportive of leaving a late change until the final team is announced, because why give the opposition more notice than they need - both have no issues with teams getting value out of the rules
So, hopefully Blicavs is back next week
He does look like he's being told to just sit deep. But I just think if he's parked he's too easily defended by a heigh outmatchHe needs to attract the ball more and that means moving. He should be roaming a bit more, BUT who knows what his instructions are.
Yeah that might change it a bitWe play Thursday, and then an 11 day break to play Hawthorn.
Thanks to the Carlton campaigners smuggling guns to shoot Vossy getting in tonight was like trying to enter the Kremlin. If Lalor doesn't win the rising star we might see some tigers fans smuggling guns into the mcg

Yep he did. Played well in finals. But was very poor for most of the year and has returned back to that poor form. His good prelim (a last game against West coast) may very well be a curse as it didn't force him to find a new role.Almost won us the PF last year.
‘WoRd’ from the Inner SanctumAnd we've just lost our best backman and will have an extra day to prepare over Adelaide. Let's hope they smash each other tomorrow
I just hope gather round is smooth sailingThanks to the Carlton campaigners smuggling guns to shoot Vossy getting in tonight was like trying to enter the Kremlin.
Remains to be seen. Too many moving parts, Neale depends on the 2nd ruck situation. If Stanley plays, both Blicavs and De Koning are down back. Rotating 2nd ruck to KPD is historically an odd structure.
I've wanted to see what O.Henry could do if he was played up the ground, Wing or Half back. Did wonders for Mayne and Mason Wood.
We just need a bit more of a presence aerially ahead of the ball.
Incorrect. He finished 8th in the B&F.Yep he did. Played well in finals. But was very poor for most of the year and has returned back to that poor form. His good prelim (a last game against West coast) may very well be a curse as it didn't force him to find a new role.
