Gary Lyon Laughing at us because Setterfield played well.
Our only mention on 360 the Kings knee into Stanley in the rucking contest Gerard looking disgusted but keeping his mouth shut.

Kane Cornes has a crack at crippa on "close checking"
Shows a clip where Cripps and Cameron are close to each other at a stoppage where Cameron skirts around the 50 and ends up with a shot on goal.
Cornes bags Cripps as in "Cameron is his man and he didn't bother to follow him". Even a quick look at back in the 50 to see Lewis Young moving across for cover at the 30 meter mark. Clearly the checking could have been better and young probably needed to be a bit more aware (you hear owies telling Hollands to "call me back" when clearly he was neither of their opponents).
Anyone with half a brain would realise that Cripps is never playing on Cameron. Cameron pushes up to stoppages and drifts back and does it bloody well and in this instance caught us out.
That was the only reference to us on Footy Classified. Lazy journalism at its finest.

The funny thing is that Buckley praising the pies is pretty much an admission that he was a terrible coach, at least at the end of his tenure.
He had pretty much the same squad (nick daicos excluded) and took them to 17th in 2021, he wanted Grundy signed to a long term deal on huge money etc.
Must hurt deep down.

People get baffled by BS in every area of life. AFL is no different - except the bar for appearing to be professional is set lower. I'm amazed at how little commentary there is around Collingwood's salary cap fiddling - which basically added up to "play now pay you never type deals "modern-day rorting sanctioned by the AFL.
