Jagga, O Farrell and the Campo boys in ‘24
Dean in ‘25
Walker in ‘26
Add them that the likes of Moir, Lord, and White and talk about resetting of the playing list with an injection of quality youth since the ‘23 Finals
Now developing these kids properly is where we get bogged down at this club.
Jagga and Cody on their own hopefully are enough to build a team around

Cody with a lovely contested mark on the lead and goal from 55 out vs Gippsland. Bendigo struggling vs the far better drilled team but he's still done some nice things. Bendigo's ruckman whoever he is is an absolute potato. Seems to tap it straight down Gippslands mids throats every time he gets his hand to a ball.

Tom and Connor Evans probably the Pioneers best again at half back as 19 year olds available in the MSD.

That Marlon kid seems like a likely top 5 pick for me. Haven’t watched the game today. How’s he going Walshy?
He's a talent thats for sure. Tiny kid but skillful and extremely quick. Holds his own strength wise despite the small stature.

Actually think theres a couple of small forwards better than him coming next year though, there was one playing in the 16s champs last year who looked every bit as good as Nick Watson to my eye. Very good draft next season, going to be some genuine superstars.

Tom Evans - Number 2 for the Pioneers is an absolute gun. So clean, quick, uses it well. I know he's more of a list management/draft discussion but people watching Cody will be the ones seeing him. Going to be a fantastic player if he gets picked up in the MSD this year.
He's Ccody's Echuca teammate... he should have a word in their ears.

Speaking of Cody, clearly a class above out there. Not sure how many touches he would have had but the glimpses you see are very exciting. Feel like he struggles a bit reading off his ruckman at the Pioneers compared to some of his work last year in the 16s where he just seemed to get his hands on everything, but his kicking has improved significantly imo. Really punches his kicks and gets fantastic penetration compared to last year where he was capable of the big booming kicks but tended to loft his passes a bit too much and allow defenders time to get to the contest and spoil.

I love that he’s kicking goals every week. Something we desperately lack

Can’t wait for the day we have a fast and agile midfield with him and jagga. Will be something I haven’t experienced as a fan

With the new draft rules will we be able to afford him if he’s picked at 1-2??
It will require careful thought at this year's trade period, but I'm sure that the team will do their sums to make sure we have the points. Remember, that we can also now trade 2 years ahead, so that gives a bit of extra flexibility.

T.Evans - 44 disposals

C.Walker - 25 disposals, 1 goal

Are the Evan’s twins? I think you mentioned they are half backs, what was the knock on them for both to go undrafted?

I know it’s not really a need but getting hits in any position is better than getting a player not up to it
