How do we know that lake was actually choking him? He may have been just holding him. The reason I say that it because if it was a choke Petrie would have been short of air and not able to sprint 50m and take a pack mark FFS.... FWIW Adams had two shoulder reconstructions done over the 2013 pre-season and he effectively has struggled to get back to wear he was pre Chicken Wing.

As boring a video this is, it does reference the extension of the chicken wing and the strapping that he does every training session and every week.

Chicken Wing wasn't the sole cause, but it didn't help.

Not at all. Last year in round 23 a club talked up a medical on a player to ensure a layer was suspended for a week as they played them the next week.
