Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Sick of this narrative. Not every team that’s won the flag has been like Hawthorn under Clarko. I’ve spoken to players who were in and around Richmond when they won 3 flags in 4 years. Couldn’t have found a more respectful, comfortable and friendly place to be at that time. Although Dimma was a bit of a hard ass, he was apprently rarely demonstrative or angry. Said that in 2017, Dimma only gave them one spray, and it was at half time of a game late in the season they ended up winning comfortably. Their imperfections were embraced, and each individual character was celebrated. Macrae has similar raps on his too. Sounds pretty nice to me
While I thoroughly agree with the general emphasis here, the 'prick on the field' thing didn't work out so well for St Kilda under Ratts.

It only helps if/when you're good enough anyway.

Of course. If you think this is bad, you must have been comatose from 2016-2021
The feeling on Thursday night was worse than any feeling I had during these years. I think there was always hope back then. Right now it just feels rotten. A closer feeling to the Malthouse years maybe.

A rumour that coaches, or others, at the club are having arguments about the results, about methodology, tactics, team selection, is easy to believe because we feel that way ourselves.

Almost hopeful in some ways (for better or worse). I want to see passion. Because that's what I have...

How we respond to Hawthorn, a good side who are hunting the ball and hungry for wins, will show us where we are at as a club.

Go blues.

Hunting the man, as in going after them physically and legally, to nullify them is equally important.

Yawn.

What a desperate attempt to get viewers.

Absolute nothing burger.
This.

In some way, kind of relieved for you guys that this is all it was in earnest.

That was such a cop out by McClure - no wonder the story didn’t “break” by anyone before going to air tonight on Footy Class.

Listening to Sam try and turn this into a bigger story than it really is, is nothing but cringe.
