  • Scans have confirmed he sustained quad injury on Sunday
  • Availability: 1-2 weeks
Jack Martin (hamstring)
  • Scans have confirmed a minor hamstring strain
  • Availability: 1-2 weeks
Adam Saad (hamstring)
  • Scans have confirmed a minor hamstring strain
  • Availability: 1-2 weeks
Charlie Curnow (ankle)
  • Experienced a sprained ankle on Sunday
  • Availability: 1-2 weeks
Lachie Fogarty (collarbone)
  • Experienced a fractured collarbone on Sunday
  • Will miss the remainder of the 2024 season
Jordan Boyd (adductor)
  • Experienced a significant adductor injury during the game on Sunday
  • Will miss at least the remainder of the home and away season

Cincotta to correct hip issue, updates on rehab group

Alex Cincotta will undergo surgery next week to correct a hip issue.

Curnow will remain in Melbourne next week during the Club’s pre-season camp on the Sunshine Coast, after confirmation a small clean-up of his knee would be required.

The Club has made the proactive decision to complete the minor procedure early next week, to ensure Curnow’s availability for the start of the season will not be impacted.

Sam Walsh will be sidelined for at least the next month after suffering a hamstring strain.

CARLTON co-vice captain Sam Walsh will be sidelined for at least the next month after suffering a hamstring strain.
The injury occurred during training yesterday, with scans confirming the strain.

Walsh is expected to integrate back into the training program in the next two to three weeks.

Nic Newman has been ruled out of the 2025 season after rupturing his patella tendon.

CARLTON defender Nic Newman has been ruled out of the 2025 season after rupturing his patella tendon.
The injury occurred during training today, with Newman sent for scans which confirmed the injury.

Newman will have surgery on his left knee in the coming week before starting his rehabilitation.

  • Subbed out of the game last week after landing awkwardly in a marking contest, with scans clearing him of any injury to his Achilles. Will continue to be assessed to determine his availability for Thursday night.

  • Recommenced training with the main group, with the aim of returning to play next week.

Matt Duffy (knee)​

  • Has returned to full fitness and will now complete a block of training to build up his game education and enhance his development, before making his VFL debut.
