Injury Nothing to see here footy gods. Move along.

I understand the frustration but I’m still focusing on this season … Williams when he’s on is better than all the smalls we currently have put together …
At times…
He needs to stop putting himself in cotton wool when he “feels” something & an expectation an injury is on the way.
A whole lot of resilience required from ZW.

I don’t think Williams was very happy he was subbed, saw some vision on the big screen at the ground where he was shaking his head and flailing his arms a bit.
Thought at the time it may have been something serious but now we know it’s not I’m more on the side that he was pissed for being subbed

the body language does not mean that he was distraught from being substituted because it could also be that he was frightened that he had injured his Achilles and that would stuff him up for yet another 12 months....
I just think that he got spooked and he will have to battle on with a bit more resilience and trust that he's body is not badly injured when he feels pain and discomfort.... However for him having dealt with so much injury in the past it must be a real ''brain **** '' not to envisage the worst outcome

Nah, I don’t think that’s the case at all

See previous history for a bit of an insight into ZW’s exits.
He’s light on with a niggle impacting him and sometimes his attack on the ball/contest in preservation mode from another injury.

Voss said it was the very, very minor end.

If he was pushed back on and made it worse, we would be complaining that the club didn’t do the right thing.
I know he was a huge loss but we needed to play it safe with such things and more importantly should be able to cover him.
It’s an indictment on our team on the night, that we wanted an injured player back on, even if it was slight.

You could also say that it's a good thing he listened to his body rather than being resilient and pushing on and potentially making it worse. This holds even more weight when considering his injury history. Going off when he did was most likely the smart move.

Ultimately though, we have to start moving past the injury prone guys which we took a big step forward in at the end of last year. You need guys on the field who shouldn't be worried about their bodies from past injuries. You need guys you can trust to run out games. It's a liability taking so many suspect players injury wise into games as the result of having to use the sub early usually doesn't end well.

Great news re: Williams, a pleasant surprise. I was prepared for an extended lay-off.
As for Razzle, how do you play out a practice game then somehow end up with a 2-month injury after initial reports of a mild calf strain or "awareness"

He explained it at the Legends Lounge. He pushed hard to come back for Roubd 1 and made it worse.
