Heard an interesting one regarding BT losing his shit at a function he was running at the club his sons played at last season. Fair to say that neither he or his boys are welcome back T the club
I get the feeling Jonno Brown is safe. It's possible that there's a penchant for blondes here.
I grew up playing against Riewoldt in junior rep footy, and as part of the same junior state teams.
Even then, he was well known for liking blondes. His subsequent dating history bares that out.
I was wondering why he was back in QLD with all his media commitments being Melbourne basedJB got shifted back to the GC by Kylie because he was sneaking with another Kath from the Fox Sports room.
Golden boy hird and tania from toorak Splitsville.
everybody likes a cheat meal from time to time
It's been a running theme/joke for years on Triple M about how he is a really hard taskmaster when MC'ing functions. He doesn't tolerate anyone speaking while he is and he is really specific about what type of mic/speaker setup he needs.
Wasn’t happy with the ticket price that the club set for the function as he believes he is worth more to see him.
Threw a cut lunch at a loyal and long serving club person
Sounds like the club will be Boning Brian from future functions.Sounds more like he was Foaming Brian.
As in not Kath Loughlin who also went back west sometime after the 2023 season?JB got shifted back to the GC by Kylie because he was sneaking around with another Kath from the Fox Sports room.

This bloke hasn’t had chocolate at Easter though since he got drafted
Geelong took him on knowing that they can control what gets out of sleepy hollow, and will be hoping his recruitment will be more of a Paddy Dangerfield story than a Jack Steven one.Bailey Smith has form at finding trouble at drinking establishments and apparently recently bought a home not far from there.

I remember when he was not long out of his playing career and before he started commentating the footy on Triple M, he used to host a basketball card show. I was listening to one episode and he was losing his shit at all the people prank calling the show and he gave them all a massive spray, saying words to the effect of, if this is the crap he has to deal with, they can stick their show.
So the next person who calls in starts by saying "Just touching on what you were saying there about the prank callers BT, I think you made some interesting points and (starts screaming incoherently for a few seconds before he's cut off)". 8-9 year old me was absolutely pissing myself.
I'm intrigued to know who was broadcasting a basketball card show in the early 90s!
Do you know anything more about it that would let me go looking for info?
sometimes you’ve had enough red meat, and just crave a fisherman’s basketWhy would Pendles order the fish when he's got the steak at home?
I did a quick Google search and couldn't find anything about it. Hopefully someone can confirm my recollection, I don't even know what station it was on. Because I grew up in a football-loving family and even had memories of watching him in the VFA as playing coach of Prahran, I knew exactly who he was, but not sure if that was common knowledge to most listeners, he was just "BT".
NBA card collecting was a phenomenon for a few years. In Shaq's rookie year, everyone started collecting basketball cards suddenly, even kids who didn't really play basketball. It lasted for two, maybe three years until the mid-90s and then everyone stopped, just as abruptly as they'd begun. But those few years were something else: there were shops in the outer suburbs that specialised in basketball cards and everything.
Card Heaven on Glenferrie road was bonkers. What a time.Funny you say that. I have a signed upperdeck shaq rookie of the year card
Think I got it late 93 or early 94
Probably worth $2. I'll have to check my Beckett magazineFunny you say that. I have a signed upperdeck shaq rookie of the year card

I had 2 Upper Deck Shaq rookies, dozens of Jordan inserts, heaps of other awesome cards and left my folder under a desk at school one day and lost the lot.Funny you say that. I have a signed upperdeck shaq rookie of the year card
Think I got it late 93 or early 94
Word around some Dogs circles is mental health and potentially early retirement, kids not in a good head space by any means. What's up with Jamarra?
It was on the old 3uz (sport 927) it was a segment that he used to host with the owners of card heaven. BT was on most night during the week. He used to announce the footy teams on Thursday Nights as well.I did a quick Google search and couldn't find anything about it.
