I watched Collision on Disney+ live this morning. I had to do some other stuff during it but to me it seemed just like the Triller stream. My read on it is that this is proper ESPN integration into Disney+ in a way that ESPN into Kayo never was (because of the extremely weird way ESPN steaming on Kayo worked. This weirdness affected things beyond AEW)

I note that on the ESPN channels, Collision is scheduled for a 9pm broadcast today, meaning it's scheduled for a 9pm broadcast on Kayo. The replay is already available on Disney+.

It's probably best to wait a couple of weeks before taking it to the bank, but the fact that the AEW shows are live + replays are quickly available when ESPN is in the middle of NCAA finals broadcasts season is a promising sign that going forward, AEW shows won't be ****ed around too much on Disney+

so my update here is:

dynamite was live last week and this week

collision was not live on Disney+ last week, but it was live this week. from memory Collision was a 3:30pm or something showing on ESPN/Kayo last week, and it seems it was a 8pm showing on ESPN/Kayo this week. so basically there's no logical reason why it wasn't live last week on Disney+, which is concerning.

Disney+ does not a listed time for Collision for this Friday. ESPN has it listed at 2pm. the mysteries of ESPN continue.

Genuine question and not wanting to start a VS war but it seems like there’s been a change where more seem to want to go across to WWE now with Vince gone.

Not counting the likes of Miro Black Andrade etc that got released went to AEW and go back but more so from the top end people like Cody, Cargil, Penta been presented as a big star…

Is it a simple fact of WWE is the “brighter lights” and people aren’t scared of Vince and how they’d most likely be buried given his prior history of talent from other companies.

For a while there it was all momentum with AEW where people where speculating and suggesting people would leave for AEW for the creative side of it compared to Vince.

Impossible to negotiate if they're marks who will take less money to work in NXT I guess.

Yeah, thats a bad loss. Hope they did everything they could to get the signature. Cause that's a seriously bad outcome.

I feel that if Mariah leaves for WWE she is going just get lost in the numbers. If they send her to NXT and give her a new name she will be starting from the bottom. The gravitas as a wrestler she built for her name in AEW will largely be forgotton.

Jade Cargill hasn't made much of an impact since crossing over. She was used much better in AEW.

Jade is just shit. Mariah is the MJF of the women’s division and I’d be blown away if she goes to NXT. She’s ready for the main roster.
