Looks like apart from JHF and Ford and maybe McKay the rest dont seem that interested...
Hopefully this is a piss take comment KK? McKay had one leg partially off the ground.....was he dropping a fart in front of the new coach? That's pretty disrespectful i reckon :) LOL etc. It's a brief moment in time which is really hard to analyse as to one's emotions. Someone mentioned the other day that Goldy didn't look happy in a photo and then we had BF jumping on the carousel shipping him off to every other club. Let's be better BF comrades.

Certain the great man wasn't speaking at that moment. In another photo McKay was talking to Clarko and had his arms folded. Is this normal for Buckets or does this suggest something sinister? One for the body language experts to explain.

They were waiting for him to arrive but nothing like a little narrative twist to get the tongues wagging..

Hoping you are right as it doesn't look good....

Going by everything I’ve read or heard about Clarko, especially in his first year at the club, none of the North players want to be giving this response:

I'm more concerned about PTSD given this is the same group that got shook up because of a bad spray they received from the then coach after a bad loss.

This from Viney has me really excited.

What ideas has he got in store for us?
Going to be a fun ride!

Clarkson is coming back for Flags.

It is through this lens that any move from this point should be viewed.

In the hypothetical world where Zurhaar or Thomas or Scott or JHF want to leave, it is this that they are choosing to leave. The most decorated coach of recent history who has come back t win flags and we are clearing decks to enable him to put together a team to do that.

If players or whoever want out of that then don't let the door hit you on the way out.

100%. It's hard to believe any current player would want to leave after we have signed the greatest coach of the modern era. I guess everyone has their reasons for wanting to leave.

I’d like to believe that was true and I seriously hope it will be true next year, but there will be players already well into conversations who know we’ve been a basket case for several years and with no way of proving that we won’t be again next year. If they’ve already mentally convinced themselves of the merits of another club, it would be hard to bring them back.

I hope you are right, but given how pathologically stuffed we have been this year, this trade period will be a raging success if we get through it by losing no more than Bailey Scott (who I rate).

Yep.

Any player who is in this purely for the pay day and doesn't have that hunger to win (and I can think of a couple) will be found out pretty soon after he starts.

Let’s see if this s**t campaigners media *ers still try to lay the boots into us with clarko here
I have a hunch they'll try and talk around him when laying the boot in. Argue we're paying too much for him and Viney and leaving the rest of the club under staffed as a result. Sam McClure, the flog, snidely asked Viney on radio today if he thought their salaries are going to be an issue with the soft cap.
