Gardner just took an absolute screamer!
That was an insane period to be watching - Litchfield, Garth and then Gardner, all classic catches.

That’s an amazing catch. But when you leap from outside the boundary, don’t you have to ground yourself inside the boundary again before completing the catch? She might have done that with her knee anyway, but the 3rd umpire only looked at her being off the ground - if she was, wouldn’t that be 6?

I did think that was the rule too, but maybe the rule of cool was in play?

So the Indian cricket board have had enough, they have made a host of new changes to be brought forward as soon as possible, and the demands aren't going to please Virat Kohli, 10 changes in all.

1/ Domestic matches: participation in domestic matches is mandatory for players to remain eligible for the national team.
2/ travel: All players are expected to travel with the team to and from matches and practice sessions. Separate travel arrangements with families are discouraged to maintain discipline and team cohesion..
3/ Excess baggage limits: In short, less luggage.
4/ Personal staff: Managers, chefs, security personnel are to be restricted on tours unless approved by the BCCI.
5/ Bags: Players must coordinate with team management about sending equipment and personal items to the centre of Excellence, Bengaluru.
6/ Practice: All players to attend practice sessions in full and travel together to and from the venue.
7/ Personal shoots: Players are not permitted to engage in personal shoots or endorsements during an ongoing series or tour.
8/ Family: Players on tour for more than 45 days may be joined by their partners and children for one visit per series lasting up to two weeks.
9/ BCCI EVENTS: Players are required to be available for BCCI official shoots, promotional activities and functions.
10: End of tours: Players must stay with the team until the scheduled end of the match series or tour, even if matches end earlier than planned.

The rules come after the board had lengthy meetings with axed captain Rohit Sharma, head coach Gautam Gambhir and chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar.
Got a feeling this is not going to end well and is going to stir the team up like a curry, "you gotta love it"! :laughv1:

Renegdes being crushed by the umps. Unbelievable. Two bowlers now warned off. Extraordinary. Must be local umps.

In fairness, O'Neill was going straight down the middle of the pitch. Why any team would go into a T20 with only 5 players capable of bowling is beyond me. Josh Brown was bowling trash.

For their perpetual shitness and sheer level of dopey crap that they do, the Renegades are truly the North Melbourne of the Big Bash.
