Just got my email too. Mines a bit different

North Melbourne and Mazda are set to continue one of the longest running partnerships in Australian sport, with Mazda extending its partnership with the club by a further three years.

As principal partner of the Kangaroos since the 1999 season, Mazda will have been involved in an incredible 596 games at the culmination of the 2022 season, including the successful premiership campaign of 1999.

Next season will be the 25th year Mazda has been on board with the Kangaroos, and the three-year extension will take the partnership into its 27th year.

As part of the agreement, Mazda will continue as the sole major partner of both the AFL and AFLW programs, as they continue their commitment to the growth of women’s football.

“We are thrilled to be continuing our partnership with such a reliable and trusted brand as our sole major partner, and we are grateful for Mazda’s ongoing support of our football club,” North Melbourne CEO Ben Amarfio said.

“Mazda’s unwavering support of our club and their significant financial contributions over the past two decades has helped us achieve the strong financial position – with record membership and zero debt – that we are in today.

“Just as we strive to do at North Melbourne through our AFL and AFLW teams, Mazda deliver their customers a sense of connection and excitement through their quality vehicles. Our partnership is one that simply makes sense given our shared values.

“Our partnership continues to go from strength to strength – on the field with an exciting, young list and off the field with everything that’s happening in and around our Arden St home – and we look forward to celebrating 25 years of Mazda and the Kangaroos in 2023.”

Managing Director of Mazda Australia, Vinesh Bhindi reflected on the long-running partnership.

P.S - We've also signed Al Clarkson as coach for a 5 year term.

Jeez, that was a shitshow of a post. Think I've cleaned it up now.😄

If your intel is close to the Clarkson camp, how come you had no information regarding him and any connection to Essendon ? You must of known/ heard the bombers would be a more likely candidate then the giants..
Boot off flog. Whether whatever KickItAnywhere34 is saying is true or not at least he's using his real account.

Fake accounts are for cowards trolls, I'm guessing you're both.

Clearly the "ITK" have been told by the ACTUAL in the know people and are handing over second or third hand info.

Don't shoot the messengers anymore, even if it turns out incorrect it was correct at the time. Martin and gaff falling through at 11th hour prove that.

Everyone's still REAL comfortable with the position clarko is in in regards to coming to North.

IF he doesn't, it was because essendon stepped in, and completely imploded. This would mean clarko was never a man of his word and not a fit for the club anyway, so we can all relax

I note this quote from The Age.

The Kangaroos have made landing Clarkson their No.1 priority. President Sonja Hood has dealt with the coach and his management exclusively on behalf of North Melbourne to lure him to the club he played for between 1987-1995.

If * win this battle then the media will come for Sonja. One of my contacts has again just sent me a one word message. Relax. Hope he is right. Media seem hell bent on talking Clarko to *. They can all go get fugged.

Yep he was talking to North and was looking positive at the time but no I should have asked his contact about Essendon - they weren’t in the picture. According to this flog it was Giants v Essendon.
Clearly everything North have done then since the Geelong game has been a mirage which I must have known - rack off.

Only 6 grammatical errors in one post? You can do better than that!

Managing Director of Mazda Australia, Vinesh Bhindi reflected on the long-running partnership.

“Almost 25 years ago Mazda and North Melbourne Football Club forged an alliance that has since become one of the longest-enduring in Australian sporting history, and with good reason – North Melbourne represents a rich and vibrant heritage, exceptional professionalism and determination and unwavering community dedication,” Bhindi said.

“These values fully align with our continual focus on human-centricity here at Mazda, and we’re therefore exceptionally proud to extend our full support of the club as we reflect on this strong partnership.”

AFL now make it very difficult to get corporate partners that conflict with AFL major partners, with Toyota being the AFL major partner, they pay a significant premium to keep other car manufacturer sponsorships off the screens. AFL can't force clubs to get rid of existing partnerships so Mazda get a great deal with their sponsorship with us. They can't let the deal lapse or switch clubs otherwise they wont get back on at AFL level again, Toyota isn't going to give up their major sponsorship spot any time soon you would imagine.

I'm aware they mean footy professionalism but I'd be astounded if we appoint someone with his muddy background
