No reason now that we can't play every team once.

It is a big jump going from 10 to 17.

As bitter a pill as it is to swallow, you learn more from losses than you do from wins. I think playing Crows, Dees and Lions regularly has helped us to improve as a team. We have been somewhat fortunate that some of the foundation clubs imploded, we probably wouldn't have had that opportunity otherwise with such a short season.
 
With a draw where every team plays every other team, Sydney wouldn't have made finals

With Crows, Dees, Lions and us playing each other a very short season leaves small margin for error, at the end of round 9 both the Lions and us were at risk of losing a top 4 spot had we lost in the last round, to sides that have fairly soft draws.

The commentators saying well at least Sydney are trying is a cop out. Of course they are trying but Adelaide deserves praise for being a better team and playing better

Crows were always going to step it up after the loss last week. I would expect the same from Melbourne tomorrow.
