is the daughter of former Rooster Daniel Ebert (not sure if he is related to any of our Eberts)

Daniel Ebert played 108 games for the Roosters between 1998 and 2008.

Laela Ebert has a younger sister Nevaeh Ebert

That's Heaven backwards.

Laela has had a couple of knee recos already. Maybe that scared teams off.

Daniel and his brother Ricky are Jeff's sons (Jeff was Russell's brother), who these days play for Modbury 'C' grade.

Thought they had another brother who played at North, but can't remember his christian name.

India, more grimace than smile ;)

Roger was interviewed on AA this morning, said he is still a Port men's team man, but will support the Adelaide women.

They are compartmentalising but still, the scarf is a bit hard to take.

Reminds me of when they tried to get Alan Shearer to wear a Sunderland shirt for charity. Was not going to happen.

100 percent..

****ing discusting

Reckon we won the draft.
not sure we did ..

we recovered from our poor AFLW trade period (where we were more interested in the AGM than the trade)

Missing out on Poppy & India by not upgrading our 1st round pick - hurt
not drafting Elli Symonds (which would have been a good Levicki replacement) with her several elite talents was a missed opportunity. (her & Matilda playing together would have been gold)
not drafting Georgia Mckee (& letting the cows get her) was also a missed opportunity especially how good and accurate she is around goal (she could have made our forward line more deadly)

excited to see Lily Patterson in our midfield with Dorwick and Goody.
waiting to see Jasmine Sowden play (with her duel sided skills), also waiting to see how Chloe Gaunt develops.
will see not sure about Jasmine Evans and Jemma Whitington Charity (will need to see them play more)

Port can't have rated McKee all that highly, they let her go through to the keeper twice.

Jasmine Evans was rated in Rookie Me's top 20 and we picked her up at 33, so on that basis she appears a good value for money pick.

I'm 99% sure that Daniel was Jeff Ebert's son. Jeff is Russell's younger brother, a couple of years younger than Russell, and played a handful of games, or less, for North Adelaide in the early 70's then went to Queensland. He won the QAFL's B&F Grogan medal in 1974 and I reckon played a few state games for Qld.
