I want the joint burnt to the ground. For too long we always been stuck between ground zero and topping up. Time to make some tough decisions but unfortunately our competent list manager doesn't have the balls to do so
Maybe wait and see what the coach and the new CEO come up with in the next two years. They are driving the new build and they have only had one season to try and untangle the mess. It is simply a wait and see now. I know it is again . They may not get it right but you can not keep saying the same people are in control when they are not. Campbell is gone and not giving Dodoro total control like he had. We have a coach specifically targeted to have an impact on list management. The coach has said multiple times that it is not a short term process. Yes we have been a joke for too long but you simply have to see where the forks in the road are. We do have to wait and see what Scott and Vosso come up with in the next 2 to 3 years. They can not do it in one season and it is doubtful we will be a lot better next year either.

might be time for a little magic trick with some of the campaigners

jokes aside (though i think a stalin-esque purge of the coaching leeches mightn't be too bad) here's my thoughts on the list.
tick is who i keep, r is retire, t is trade, crossed out is delist, question mark is for players who i'm not sure what we do with them, peter wright is a shadow of his former self (recovering from injuries tend to do that) hunter/reid/davey/cox/jones have all missed a good chunk of football (through injuries) kelly/shiel/mcgrath are all just unimpressive players who probably wouldn't get a game at many other clubs (on their current form/form when they last played) and i just don't know anything about lewis hayes honestly.

might be a bit delusional/dumb but there's so many just... average players on our list who don't deserve games but get put in anyway

Hi everyone I'm about to watch the GWS replay I haven't been spoiled yet so I'm hoping it is a good contest just noticed a lot of activity in this thread so thought I'd stop by and have a look. Huh, stalin photos, that's weird, anyway, better get on with watching this replay, I sure am excited, season on the line I'm sure we'll bring the heat!

If only we could find a key tall that competes as hard as Oscar allen.

Trade Zerk to Port - picks 37 & 71
Trade Shiel to Collingwood - pick 33
Trade Guelfi to West Coast - picks 38 & 57

Trade to Gold Coast - picks 26 (Ess), 33 (Collingwood), 37 (Port), 38 (W/C), 45 (Ess), 57 (W/C), 65 (Ess) and 71 (Port) = 2888 points.

Cal mentioning the issues over getting McKay with Parish still unsigned wouldn't be the first sign of concern would it?

Would be very Essington if Parish leaves and we signed McKay

Dodoro would literally be on a hit list if that eventuated

eth-dog does the dogs missing the finals change anything re trading for the GCS pick? It’s likely no one bids for Croft before their pick now.

Eh, depends on Parish and McKay. Could still be pick 12 pre-Walter and Read bids. I think they still trade up.
