If the allegations are true, this is far, far worse than Essendon drug scandal.

Essendon and the people in charge were bumbling fools, that had dreadful record keeping and poor people in charge. They didn’t win anything of substance and some would argue are still dealing with the fallout 11 years later.

Geelong are being accused of systematically rorting the system for close to 10 years and building premiership teams of the back of it. From what I have heard, this is just the start.

Meh, we won the 04 flag, a game that featured some of the smartest and succesful minds in the AFL era and likely the most coaches.

Yep, Caro’s mail is 99.9% accurate. I think I speak on behalf of all football fans when I say I hope this isn’t true and Geelong aren’t the dodgy cheats everyone suspected they are, but unfortunately it is.

Makes me respect my club and its fans even more now. Went through the toughest of times then completed a dynasty by winning three legitimate flags. Only Brisbane and Hawthorn have done it this century. Huge achievement and so proud of my club.

Far too many are showing their true colours since this has broken out. Super jealous but ultimately low intelligence individuals to buy into this without any evidence of wrongdoing having presented itself.

Not sure how Geelong fans sleep at night when they’re the AFL’s Man City equivalents. First drug cheating during their “dynasty” (not that you can call it a dynasty even if it was legitimate - no back to backs) and now cap rorting.

I guess a supporter base that still refers to Gaz Senior as “God” probably wouldn’t know much about morals and integrity.

Disgraceful football club. Wouldn’t care if the cheats were booted from the comp.

Yeah I heard him. Shows it's not just opposition supporters who are envious of Geelong, even the clubs themselves feel the sting of inadequacy. Choosing to whine and sook rather than get better is one way of dealing with it I guess.

She's probably run with Geelong as it's a bigger headline for clicks, even if not, how has anyone made up their mind one way or the other based on this? People have been pretty angry since they found out Chris Scott is a banking magnate and Joel Selwood was a loan shark. Plus the Bailey Smith Cotton On long con.
