The man is an excuse factory, excuses which fall apart under any kind of minor scrutiny.
Spot on.
Pro team got delayed on cricket 24 to.
I don’t think they’ve been able to stick to a date for anything.

To much on the plate, the cricket games were actually solid with minor flaws that you could overlook but it’s no coincidence that the quality of cricket decreased significantly with the botched releases of AFL, Rugby and Tennis.

Back to the AFL side of it, not everyone is into these pay to win modes and honestly I would love to know the actual playing base they have? I don’t know anyone personally that is still playing this game and with a half baked roster update… why would you even bother turning it on if you had it?

In addition to AFL, Cricket, Rugby and Tennis, they’re also releasing a new rugby league game this year.

How they justify adding more to their workload when they’re already failing to deliver on every other project is beyond me.

Hold up. So they don't have the draftees in any form at all? Not even just a randomly generated model?
No they don’t.

To make it even worse. The best 23s are missing key players from the first 3 rounds. I’m talking Kamdyn McIntosh, Josh Battle, Nick Watson, Dan Houston, Nick Bryan, Pat Voss, Aaron Camaniti, Ryan Maric to name a few. All in the reserves list.

I, for one, am glad Caminiti isn't in the starting lineup... :p

Big Ant will be done in a few years. The Rugby game they released is trash and so was Tiebreak. I gave them some leeway but it’s absolutely pathetic to update trades without a proper roster update. In my time I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sports update as pathetic as this. It’s seriously laughable how they continually shit on their consumers over again. Their forums have turned into JNT acting like an arrogant toddler as well.

Everything they release now is broken, and they constantly over promise and under deliver, while treating their consumers like crap when they call them out on it.

Are they trying to do too many games at once? Or are they just poorly managed?

I really hope they can turn it around, because once upon a time they were Aussie gaming's biggest success story.

Apparently the rugby25 is up to patch, like 13, and it is still a hot mess. People are complaining about not being able to pass down the line, and the ai can’t even put a play together on hardest difficulty.

I am gobsmacked people are still buying these BA titles on release. To think they are now going to release an nrl game is beyond laughable.

Sad state of affairs. To this day I still play around with Evo 2, which says it all. If AFL 23 was anywhere near what was promised, could have had a much more up to date game.

I'll start, but it's time we all gave an apology to Wicked Witch.

Evolution 2 is the best AFL game out there.

Ross naturally spent his time throwing out slight jabs, and clear bitter vibes when Evolution 2 released. Now he's had his chance to make the game he clearly thought he could - and failed dramatically.

The gameplay sucks, but the funniest part is the lies he made up about the shipments of Xbox copies being stuck in customs when it was obvious that was never the case. Microsoft just didn't want to release a broken game onto their console.

Big Ant are done. Perhaps they need to pivot to making mobile games.

People can say what they want about Evo 2 — at least Wicked Witch finished it.

Nah. Big Ant sucking doesn't make Wicked Witch good by default. That's like saying we should say sorry to 2024 North because 2024 Richmond were worse.

Couldn't play more than 1 season of Evo 2 because it was just so janky and lifeless to me. That doesn't change just because AFL 23 was a **** up of epic proportions.

Honestly they should have just stuck to cricket they really had that game nailed through 17-19 and even 22 was solid,

There was minor bugs that you could live with but gameplay was good and there was plenty of modes.

I never played career mode but it had enough depth and customisation to make the game last.

AFL has not a single one of those features at all.

Do we know how long before release AFL23 was classified?

Does that mean it's coming out this year?
Pretty sure that was only classified a month or two before the planned release. But now that gambling is included it probably needs a longer time. Don’t imagine we get it until next year being AFL26 and with the NRL game in the works this year
