The last 30 seconds encapsulates the current state of the AFL and commentary. Ruckman grabs ball from the ruck and is tackled. Commentator raises their annoying voice in anticipation of a free kick which no longer exists. Then the stupid 50m penalty.
That’s Kelly underwood, the worst commentator out there, she’s tokenism at its best. As soon as she said it one of the other commentators jumped in to save her looking like an idiot.

Nope the 666 poxy rule was to counter Ross Lyon tactics
Sure, but the introduction of the 6-6-6 rule made clearances more valuable, whereas Richmond relied on rebound. You're right though in that it didn't have a massive impact on Richmond's game.

I forgot to mention the stand rule though. That destroyed our ability to protect space. Using kick-ins as an example:

With the stand rule, all you need is one open player to mark to negate any forward pressure. With the additional space from a kick in, you basically have anywhere within 90m of the goal. Worst case scenario you can run and roost it to the wing. What was previously forward pressure becomes midfield pressure and contested ball/clearances.

At 1pm on a Sunday when junior footy is on all day v an interstate side? Correct me if I'm wrong, but there were only an additional 20k to the game the night before.

My team is playing, I attend. That is my rule for home games. Support your team when they are good / crap, support your team when they play a QLD / WA / Vic team.

If this doesn't fit your desires, you are a bandwagoner.

Saying that, I understand the pulls of junior sport and it's taxi service responsibilities.

Amazing how every week all your wins just look worse and worse. 4 goals down to the Lions who are garbage, 8 goals down to Norf who are non existent, losing to Port and Carlton who are questionable at best, and celebrating a win against the Dogs who are also hopeless.
I am not the one posting here ever game Fremantle loses or when Fremantle posts a low score or both.

That's all good if you have no other responsibilities on a weekend.

Fully agree with you about supporting your team when they are good or crap, but the team is not going to fold if you miss the odd game.

32,252.

Not terrible, I expected more though.
I think the MCG is one of those venues that because of its gargantuan size that when it is only 1/3 full it looks utterly pitiful. 33k at Marvel doesn't look too bad at all.

So you beat yet another team incapable of beating West Coast.

Funny how you come here bragging about scoring 100 points, my whole argument is that Fremantle didn't score enough to win a flag, and you claimed they didn't need to score 100 points to win a premiership. Yet every week you come in here and basically point out that I'm right by touting them scoring a AFL not AFLW grade score. So why aren't you in here every time they score 60 points saying how certain they are to win a flag with low scoring? Why do you keep pointing out that I'm right and you're wrong?
Again... you dont post if Freo score over 100 points. but you do post here when freo loses, freo posts a low score or both.
