the footy romantic in me craves the swans in a thriller. Friday night with arguably both seasons on the line, Swans dearly need a hard fought win like this and we might look back on it as very consequential either way.

Seems the standard comment from you every week, just changing the oppo each week.

Good to see you’re getting the hang of posting on an internet forum, nice

One would have to fancy Pies going for the jugular tonight. Sydney having been playing like satisfied yacht owners without a care in the world. Pies on the other hand are still showing some ticker.

Pies also don't mind travelling. I hope they can win well so I don't have to listen to those clackers and knitting needles.

I also wonder if the cameraman will mount the camera on a tripod this week as lying prostrate on the ground doesn't give the best telly experience.

Of course, Swans will find form, just play the Pies.

Lost your dominance? Stuck in a rut? Teams don't fear you anymore?

Call 555 Play Pies to play yourselves back into form, only the Pies can play insipid teams back into form.
Sad but true.

So, given this is a Sydney home game, what are the odds on a Ch 7 before-game Nick Daicos / half-time Darcy Moore feature quinella?

Zevon am I safe to tip the swans?
Im Not No Way GIF

(Although I’m still hoping to be pleasantly surprised…)
